These juice bottles are quite nice for pouring LI / LC. They're 250 ml full, filling with water to the first ridge gives some headroom for shaking. I find them pretty easy to open, hold the cap, and pour one-handed. They're easy to PC with the cap loose & covered in a little foil. The labels peel right off, no adhesive.

Charlie Brown LI (left), empty (right). "It's organtic!"

The brand is "Wonder _" (Wonder Beet, Wonder Lemon, Wonder Melon, etc.), I've seen the bottles for around $3.50 each, and the juice is pretty good too.

I'm pretty sure I'd knock that over. I like wide bases for the slide-no-spill action.

My broken bongs and I hear you. The bases are narrow, but also about 1 cm thick solid glass. They're quite bottom-heavy, more stable and sturdy than they appear. They feel weirdly overbuilt for just storing juice, but plenty solid for PCing and reuse.

Got this maybe 2 weeks ago, or 3 I dunno. Just used it yesterday to sterilize 10 quarts of grain. Life is good.

Looks pretty much identical to mine, which I've been very happy with so far.

The only issue I've noticed recently is that when it was at ~16.5 psi, it started to rotate slightly on my glass-top stove/cooker, indicating that the bottom was bulging somewhat.  It was mildly worrying in the moment, but it flattened out again when it cooled, so - not warped per se.

Oh wow, how long have you had it and how often do you use?

Since December.  I've probably used it somewhere between 10-20 times; not a heavy workload.  In all other respects though, no complaints.

DIY greenhouse controller.
This device is designed to control ventilation, heating, humidification, and lighting. It functions as a central unit: only a single power cable is required. It powers and controls all "child" devices (heating, ventilation, humidification, lighting, and sensors) without the need for external power supplies.
All settings are made using the display and an encoder with a pushbutton. Clock, display settings, screen sleep mode, brightness, and 180-degree screen rotation can all be adjusted through the settings menu.
Modes: auto (using sensors with hysteresis), forced (on/off), and manual (work/rest cycles in seconds/minute). Lighting brightness is also adjustable.
Error handling is included: if a sensor is not connected or produces unrealistic readings, the device it controls is turned off, and the display shows "ERR." If the clock is reset (for example, if the battery is dead), devices using timers are turned off. There's a watchdog to reboot the device if it freezes.

This is the first version; I'm currently working on a more compact version that will also control the incubator's heating.

Holy shit that's impressive. Perfect for a grow room. How much juice can it handle?

My setup is the classic Frankenstein power strip with timers, ink birds and other junk slapped together and ready to ignite.

Power supply for 12 volts - 1 ampere shared for all connectors. And two 230 volt relays - 2 amperes each.

Pretty slick. Are you planning to sell it or is this just for personal use?

Right now it's for personal use only. I can't guarantee that the program will work without any bugs, so it's not a good idea to sell it as a ready-to-use device. This is an amateur project and I am not an electronics engineer and cannot guarantee the safety of this device. In addition, it is expensive and overengineered - for example, it's have a 4-channel mosfet module, but only 3 are connected, one of them is not in use (I used it for testing) - two useless channel.

Got this sick shelf off the side of the road.

Now 80% of my lab furniture is either dumpster dived or roadside scores. Bet the people who threw the stuff away never thought it would end up in a mushroom lab:hehehe::mushroom2:

Yarp, the stainless steel sheets were pretty cheap. I just cut it to fit with scissors and a scalpel then added it to the plunger assembly. I wasn't able to fold/crimp the edges like the original screen. But it didn't seem to leak around the sides.
I haven't tested it thourghly yet. I'll update y'all if it sucks. 😆

I love the pyrex 250ml bottles with the GL45 caps. I PC 4 at once and then I put them in my sous vide. I set the sous vide temp at 123F and by the time I get to the bottom of a fresh bottle it just starts to thicken. Greatly reduces condensation pouring at that temp.
