I have the same one. for maybe 5 years. A tad over the 3 setting is perfect for unicorn bags (on mine). I need to periodically center the arm on the base. Happy sealing!

Ooh, nice! Did you just wire it to an outlet into a junction box with a plug for portability?

What model is that? Can't seem to come up with the right search terms for it...

Yes exactly, metal j box and extension cord. The timer is by 'sylvania' I don't think they make it anymore because the led is shitty and after a few years the contrast is so bad you can only read it at a 80° angle. I bought a two pack years ago, one for a steamer and finally using the second one.

Ah, this one has a countdown timer which is I think what youd search for:

Thanks! Yeah, so many of the digital ones I could find were missing that countdown feature.

Looks like Lowe's (but not Amazon) has a version of this in its own outdoor enclosure:

I didn't know I needed this, thanks again.

Shorten those links FFS!!! You can ditch everything from the /dp to the end.

I suppose those items are rarely enough directly linked to that Amazon could easily infer that I got them via deadmandave anyway

You need the segment after /dp/ too, and can drop anything between amazon.com and /dp/ (it just makes part of the product name show up in the URL).

Brave browser has an option to "Copy Clean Link" which does the right thing automatically. Might be nice for Shroomery to do the same when you post a raw Amazon link...

Love it. No open flame, no having to mess with a torch, instant high heat, thing is sick. Got it with the foot pedal. I was thinking to cut the coil into my SAB at first but I think I'mma just use it outside the box. Only downside is not being able to use the thin sharp needles to inject stuff but plenty of ways around that. I can just lift the lid slightly if needed or always start with agar.

These juice bottles are quite nice for pouring LI / LC. They're 250 ml full, filling with water to the first ridge gives some headroom for shaking. I find them pretty easy to open, hold the cap, and pour one-handed. They're easy to PC with the cap loose & covered in a little foil. The labels peel right off, no adhesive.

Charlie Brown LI (left), empty (right). "It's organtic!"

The brand is "Wonder _" (Wonder Beet, Wonder Lemon, Wonder Melon, etc.), I've seen the bottles for around $3.50 each, and the juice is pretty good too.

Indeed, and the distinctive bottle shape makes them easy to spot in the store.

If only they came in 500 ml, I bet they'd be great for pouring agar too. Nice cheap 250 ml media bottles.

Those are awesome. I had never noticed them before so I presumed that this was a product available in Europe. Pleasantly surprised to discover that they are available at my local whole foods!  Now Amazon is good for two things!

Yep! I reuse food containers whenever possible for gardening and cult stuff. I chose "pickle_jars" because I'd been growing ATL#7 stones in 24 oz. pickle jars. I have an 8 quart PC, so I tend to use smaller/shorter containers. With the Vlasic jars the labels even come off clean in my dishwasher.

I've seen them at a couple local grocery stores here in the midwest (US).
