I don't think I need to justify anything I've said with my personal history — at this point I don't think it matters. And looking at the dynamic, I don't think any other opinion with a similar "optimistic" focus would fare any better.

Bud its insensitive. Don't worry about it.  I know how hard you try. God knows how hard we all try.  "get off the couch" was something that was written from a couch and "smile" is usually advice given by people who don't have a genuine belly laugh.  My art can be seen from google earth.  My try is visible from space.  My laughter makes small animals run for cover and know you. and i see you.
