indoor/outdoor cultivation lol this is a crazy idea.

Ok so a buddy of mine has this barn thing that can be open or closed. It has tons of horse shit in it thats dry. TONS. The floor is cement and so could I saturate the manure in water and then add some jars of myc to it and wait. Would it produce mushrooms ?? If this works I could be like flushing a 25 x 25 foot room.

The only problem with this idea is that if something went wrong, you'd lose all 25x25 feet of stuff.

Well,

300'x 300' x 3' = 1168 gal, 5 cubic yards,

so 1168 / 5 = 233 gals of spawn at the least,

934 gals of substrate, yes pasteurized and all,

Casing layer, 389 gals,

Just to get a few numbers going,

Its really area so it should be like growing outdoors why do i need to pasturise? and why so much spawn im thinking 1 quart per7 cubic feet. And cover with a black tarp to keep light out. would that work? And I could case with jiffy mix like 1/8 inch all no wait fuck caseing lol.

The way you are suggesting is no, you have to know what the amount that you talking, and your a little confused on indoor/outdoor cult. There not the same by any means.

its a barn thing and wind blows rite through it. So its practicaly out doors and for somer eason the temp in it is colder than the outside. and it can be opened wide up and air can just literaly blow rite through it, I cant imagine pasturising it all lol, I want it to work someone use ur supper smarts to figure out how to pasturise all the manure!

ok scratch it can I just dig a 25 x 25 foot hole 5 inches deep and fill it with horse pooh and add some spawn to it and cover witha tarp so that way it can fully colonise and then remove the tarp when it is and then water a lot, would it fruit hella bad ass like?

No man, again an outdoor patch, can take a year or more to fruit, if your luck and it does not sound like that will happen.

Two suggestion and neither will be what you want to hear but,

1, Buy Mycelium Running, there is a lot of killer outdoor teks!

2, Start a small outdoor patch.


There are so so many simple ways to do it, but not like what your describing, the questions you ask are to in depth to cover here, If your serious then invest time in the reading.

Other then that man you will look back when your a little more knowageable you'll say what was I thinking...lol

a year what no man I have scimed outdoor teks and the thing is if it takes a year then that requires passing through winter and in my parts cubes dont grow here and winter makes them not return.
