Why I believe in reincarnation
    #29650553 -

Okay so think about it. I'm not saying it's exactly like this. But this is the closest analogy I can find to try to make sense of why I think it's real. And maybe this is an analogy maybe this is very much what it is. But I don't think so. At least not to the extent that I'm trying to use this comparison to make an exact explanation of exactly what I think reincarnation is. More of just like an analogy of comparison to metaphors sort of thing. But since it explains it so well take it however.

So let's say that when you go to sleep you wake up. And when you wake up you go to sleep. And by that I mean when you dream you wake up and you lift someone else's life and when they go to sleep you wake up and you live your life. But whenever you wake up you don't remember it exactly you just remember you had this "dream."

Okay but in that scenario where you wake up and don't remember your other life and when you go to sleep you wake up and you don't remember this life what would eventually happen? Well there's no way you and the other person would die at the exact same time. How could it be? So probably one of you would die and the other keeps living and the one that dies when you go to sleep and have that dream and they wake up you're just reborn.

Now is it exactly like that? I'm not saying it's exactly like that. I'm trying to explain energy and I'm trying to explain becoming an unbecoming. But let's say it's like that let's say one of bird goes to sleep it becomes a cat and when a cat goes to sleep and becomes a word. There's a yin and a yang an action for every reaction energy's never created or destroyed simply transferred from one state to the other sort of a thing.

It just keeps going though. The stream keeps going the energy keeps going. You don't realize it because you're unaware of it. So what is enlightenment? Well I guess enlightenment would simply just be breaking the habit. You're a creature of habits. And humans of course have the hardest time getting rid of habits. Habits are so habitual you don't realize how habitual they are until there's people that like have their arm cut off by mistake or something like that and they're trying to explain to someone how to make coffee they're totally delirious of course they lost all their blood pressure and they're trying not to pass out. They're in a severe amount of pain and shock. But they start going on about something like that or they're talking to you like they're talking to their mom when they're 5 years old and they're asking for help like give me a Band-Aid or something it's on the shelf it's in the cabinet go up there and grab it. The habits are the things that create you and they're what you rely on.

And a person breaking habits is like so incredibly difficult it's not even funny. The idea that you would just sit there and meditate until you break your habits and end the habit and then the cycle and are enlightened is almost beyond belief.

And what is enlightenment? It's just a word. I take it to me and you know now what you did not before. Enlightenment. In fact that's almost an exact translation. Some people would call it heaven. Many names for it. But I believe it's a place we all go eventually. I believe eventually the habits of birth and death the cycle of starting and stopping becoming an unbecoming ends. And what after that? Like I said who knows. I mean you're just a form of energy everything is just a form of energy your form of energy. So whatever it is is not too different. It just means you broke a cycle you broke a habit. You're no longer going to continue with the process of life and death.

And then it's like you would finally totally wake up not just wake up into the next dream or wake up into the next dream as the other person it's like I said you know you go to sleep they wake up to go to sleep you wake up but it seems so real but you never really feel like you're in a dream you never really feel like you're in the cycle in this habit. Except when you're awake you only remember things when you were asleep in a certain way. And who knows how you really experience them? Because when you wake up everything seems totally different.

So does sitting there with your legs crossed breathing through your nose observing your breathing feeling your body of sensations observing your body sensations really and the cycle of habits as you look for subtleties smaller and smaller lighter and lighter more and more subtle less and less vivid less and less gross more and more like soft notes instead of forte.

I mean probably. You know I think the height stops a lot of people from meditating more. Also it's a hard thing to do it's a hard thing to get in the habit of meditating because the whole habit of meditating is breaking habits. And it sure feels good when you break the habits don't get me wrong. There's always a big breakthroughs when you have meditations. But most people don't do it. And of course the truth is most people don't do it especially because they expect too much out of it. The expected to be like it's some perfect world that you're going to heaven and it was in an hour or so sitting there just trying to have patience and doing all that it doesn't work you just stop entirely. I'm not even trying to say like it's so damn easy. It is what it is.

But anyway these are just my thoughts on that. I'm not saying exactly in the way that if you go to sleep you wake up as someone else that's also you but you're someone else in a different life and then when they go to sleep they wake up as you and you're the same person but obviously not you get up and you see it totally different person in the mirror maybe in one life you're the cop and the other you're someone in jail I don't know maybe not exactly like that either. But you know what I mean you wake up as a man you go to sleep and then you wake up as a woman. You're never exactly the same but you're always exactly the same. And it's just a cycle it keeps continuing it keeps continuing it keeps continuing and then you're just born again. But the stream never really entirely stops. It's like it doesn't even really pause it's just bends in One direction or the other. You go to sleep you wake up you go to sleep you wake up you die your reborn you dye your reborn.

But apparently the world beyond all this physical attachment all these cravings and aversion fears and addictions where you're not just bound to emotions and pain and suffering and the process of life and death in the process of becoming and ending and all that. It's just a world where you break your habits and the stream The habit the understanding The Knowing of consciousness or at least what you think consciousness is changes you find more subtle things you become more aware and eventually as you're aware of your habits as you're not even if you think you are you finally and the habits by just observing them. You wake up in both dreams you no longer are reborn. And what is that like? I don't know. Just a change in the energy. A lack of attachment. Actions without reactions. A state of purity without impurities. Something like that.

Do these conversations kind of help anyone? I hope so. I'm not even sure if they help me. But I try you know. Let me know what you think.

Reincarnation is just the linear processing of the multiverse.  You live infinite lives in reality.  However, our minds cannot really process these lives as they occur, but they all occur parallel to each other... simultaneously, if you will.

They would be parallel I suppose

We don't have to guess about these things anymore. As modern medicine has improved, it's more common for people to die and be brought back to life. Many of their experiences are corroborated by living people. Thousands of people have recorded their experiences in video interviews etc.

Yes many people can corroborate old things. People can like remember past lives now. But I still don't think you'll ever have total clarity until you're totally enlightened.

I don't know what you mean by old things.
But what I'm talking about is while someone is dead, they see and hear everything in the OR (confirmed by the doctors). They see and hear things that happened in other hospital rooms while they were dead. Sometimes things that happened miles away.

No guessing required. Only the body dies as our eternal consciousness is released. Don't listen to me, go look into it.
