"That is why it makes no difference to what part or by what part of the Sonship the healing is offered. ⁷Every part benefits, and benefits equally."

That's excellent as there may be confusion in targeting remembrance... just put on the blindfold and jam. It is evident and said your influence could land with anyone, anywhere.

"If joy is something to be found in the future, but not the present, what's the point?"

Reminded of it said that which which remembers is beyond time, as you are, future, present, past as one. Oneness includes time.

I'm inclined to think spatially, but time is a separating factor perhaps more so. Something in the future means it's not present. If you say no future it all fills in.

Is time then a fruit of guilt and fear?

I hear you. Spatially means that all points in time are accessible from the Now. In fact we can interact with these points and alter them, that’s the crazier thing.

I think maybe the aspect of time that is guilt and fear is related to regret, you can’t get back those moments you fucked up and therefore you are progressively losing all your chances at happiness until finally you croak and it was all meaningless wasted effort, anyways.

But obviously, that’s not the frame that really works. It leaves no room for creativity, inspiration, mystery, not knowing (un-knowing which leads paradoxically to gnosis)

I’ve been following this writer on Medium that I really like, here’s a couple excerpts from their most recent piece (it takes a bit to get used to their style, which quickly grew on me):

Quote:
In this reality the string theory is not proven, but it's in a sense of science, in thinking about life, it's based on dimensions and frequency of different vibrational modes similar to music notes, if subatomic particles are used in Zen Buddhism about the past, how in a technique of meditation-memory programs the body with a collection of points of Samsara, which can be undone, such energy loops can be useful in transcendence about not so distant future where you need to make your mechanics in this world more efficient in order to fulfill plans of destiny, to make your karma a power being used by your autonomy in order to follow your path.

:scaredturtle:

Quote:
Part of transcendence is searching for drives which make an effortless echo sound as satisfying ring of a bell somewhere in the mountains, there are Buddhist temples in Himalayas that are really close to the clouds of Heavens.
There are instinctual drives or those that would make you half walk up half climb to witness the peace, there are conscious choices that you do not have to report to anybody because you simply love yourself for making those, and based in such things of Tao and Tantra, there is what I labeled
'Natural Will', as well as it's based on environment, letting go, taking moments, following deities and angels. It's a rare pearl that I came up with, but it's of the same category as Carl Yang's tricks of the trade, it's sturdy, shiny, smooth, it's Venus' pearl.

Wait, what is that energy loop thing, where do we get that?

About searching for drives, I've observed correctly or not, that the internal fruits of dharma which tend to the unconditioned or unidentifiable, even if blissful, exhilarating, deeply still and peaceful, do not trigger a habitual tendency as do habits or that appealing for the body, so that's a disadvantage.

On the other hand the habit of practice can become strong for the sake of qualities and beyond, or devotion, but it's different from the bodily impulse drive, eg, nicotine...

Seems like she’s saying it has to do with utilizing karma, transforming it into the path. Reminds me of space ships utilizing orbits around planets to “slingshot” their way faster through space.

I wonder if “habitual” in and of itself is somehow contrary to the Creative Force, the yogic principle of “spanda” which is tied to the lila of all bodies in motion, in unison, a divine dance.

I know what you mean. For one, there seems to be a “more conscious consciousness” about those more noble habits.

But not necessarily. I’ve got several mantras that circulate through my mind on autopilot. I will catch myself saying them, for instance while I’m walking I’ll realize that I’m inwardly chanting the mantra in rhythm with my steps, and it will remind me of The Higher Body

Spanda. How could I not have heard that? Wonderful term.

There must be some kind of extended concentration, or whether there is spontaneity, but the heavens open according to our readiness or something, grace. That which is through the eye, or that which the eye becomes.

a “more conscious consciousness”, good answers

'I wonder if “habitual” in and of itself is somehow contrary to the Creative Force, the yogic principle of “spanda” which is tied to the lila of all bodies in motion, in unison, a divine dance.'

Perhaps not contrary, but part of spanda. As where breathing may be useful to opening, it's also constricted and forgotten. Forgetting to breath on one hand is death or constriction, where suspension of breath spontaneously is in opening, as with awe.

Regarding concentration: seems to be a kind of "holding" of consciousness. Like, a plant needs to grip the soil with its roots in order to grow. Or we hold a baby in our womb, to grow it. Or, our skeletal-muscular system holds the body together, with fascia and ligaments and skin and whatnot.

Perhaps meditative concentration develops the power to hold the spiritual bodies together, to root them into the physical form, at least while the physical form is still operable. At death, spiritual bodies disperse and maybe even are transformed by the completion of the human experience.

Thinking about concentration, I eventually considered resonance. It's a way of extension.

"Resonance happens when an external force or wave matches an object's natural frequency. This match causes a big increase in vibration size or energy transfer."

Quote:
Resonance increases amplitude because an external driving force transfers energy to an oscillating system at the exact right time during each cycle, matching its natural frequency. This phase alignment means every new push adds to the motion instead of fighting it, causing energy to build up and the vibration size to grow large. How Energy Builds UpMatched timing: The pushes happen at the same frequency as the system's natural movement.Constructive addition: Each push adds its energy directly to the existing motion.Maximum transfer: The system absorbs the highest possible amount of energy from the external source. What Stops Infinite GrowthEnergy loss (Damping): Friction, air resistance, or electrical resistance remove energy from the system.Equilibrium: Amplitude stops growing when the energy added by each push equals the energy lost to damping.

But when resonating with the Infinite... perhaps no energy lost to friction or damping

The mechanism eludes; the medium is like appreciation or quiet. It'd be argued stillness and quiet is everything, but it also does otherwise, manifests in rajas and tamas, activity and density, and osbcrued due to the qualities of the body.

What would you see without the fear of death? What would you feel and think if death held no attraction for you? Very sim-ply, you would remember your Father. The Creator of life, the Source of everything that lives, the Father of the universe and of the universe of universes, and of everything that lies even beyond them would you remember. And as this memory rises in your mind, peace must still surmount a final obstacle, after which is salvation completed, and the Son of God entirely restored to sanity. For here your world does end.

So the final obstacle is the apocalypse, the end of our world, individually I mean, perceptually, of ego. In any case it's said it's a step taken for us. We can't do it.

Yes we are not aware of hidden fear used to make our world. I think it's the same as lack of awareness of mind's extent in it.

Fear of death for me I think is on the surface mostly fear of losing loved ones which we do lose physically. Emphasis is nothing is lost.

"They appear to lose what they love, perhaps the most insane belief of all."

To me it can go to the substantiality of subtle (spiritual) bodies, and the reality of not losing our people and such.

Physical presence over time with kin can make it harder I think. Prana gets woven with others regarding physical togetherness.

Two weeks is of sort of magic number, 13 days if I recall involving what is treated as crucial time after someone passes, to do particular things for them, prayer and the like, to benefit them in the transition.

I noticed when my cat passed, the presence was strong for about two weeks.

What do you think of the role or guilt in making losing loved one’s so difficult? In my experience, and working with lots of people suffering from loss, guilt seems to be a pervasive element. Even when it’s obviously irrational. We feel responsible for the loved one’s death. I should have done more. I should have been a better son/brother/father/partner to them while they were here. I failed them. Or they failed me.

If all that were removed, maybe easier to accept the passing, which as you point out is not really a loss at all, only seems that way. Lots of folks develop a deeper relationship with their loved one AFTER they pass, interestingly enough.

Reminds me of the ring of power, how even the innocence of the hobbits wasn’t enough to prevent ego from blocking the way to destroying the ring. Only a trick of fate, Gollum and a mad battle for the ring at the very end, could result in its destruction. I.e. only God’s plan for salvation will work
