New grow room help please (Industrial)
    #29641352 -

I'm building a grow room using sandwich panels. It will be 6m x 8m x 3m high.

On one end there will be a lung room that is 2x3m and the height may be 3-4m.

Inside the lung room will be an 18,000 BTU wall inverter AC unit that will condition the air for it to be sucked into the grow room once the extractor fan kicks in. The humidifier will sit inside the same room, connected to a duct which runs from one end of the grow room to the other, on the ceiling and has holes to distribute the humidity evenly.

The grow room will be connected to the lung room via a single duct in the wall between the two. When the extractor fan kicks on it will suck the air from the lung room.

The extraction fan is the Soler & Palau TD 800/200 which has a capacity of 700-1100 m3/h.

I will have Inkbird temperature, humidity and CO2 controllers at the start.

My question is how will the small lung room supply enough fresh air for the much larger grow room? The AC unit should have a fresh air setting but what happens once the air has been sucked up by the extractor fan? What will happen with the negative pressure inside and when it can't pull air from anywhere else?

Also, should the humidifier be on a separate duct? I know that the climatized air should be also humidified but since it will be pulled in every time the CO2 levels rise, that means that the humidity will not be able to be controlled. If it's a separate duct, then it can just kick on to get the grow room humidified, independently of the extractor fan.

It's complicated so thank you for any information! I've literally invested everything I have into this grow room.

I think you need to ask yourself what your grow because fresh air ppm is different for different species. Second a lung room usually isn't needed.  I use to run a 3 space green houses in my basement divide by fans with filters on it and a humidifier and heater each. Ran on a 220. Shitake and loins maine could be in the same temperature ranges but not the same fresh air exchange so this is what you need to look into.
If your only growing actives your probably over doing it. Hi roller tek on here would be your best bet.

I will only be growing Lion's mane at the beginning. The reason I want the lung room, is so that the AC unit doesn't sit inside the 80%+ humidity grow room.

By climatizing the air I'm guessing that means cooling. The way we cool air is by removing the moisture from it. Seems re-humidifying is redundant?

I learned that a lung room should have a fresh air intake as well, running through a filter. The intake draws outside air in, the AC unit warms, or cools it and then it's pushed into the grow room.

What I can't figure out is, if the lung room is much smaller than the grow room, once the exhaust fan in the grow room turns on to clear the built up CO2 it will create negative pressure. That will suck up outside air through the intake in the lung room and that air will not have enough time to get either cooled or heated before it enters the grow room.

How exactly does that work?

Did you not ask the AI you have been consulting and paraphrasing? What was their answer?
