Not much, just drinking, bad weather and construction work :lol: Only thing worth mentioning is I went overnight camping with a badly struggling sibling and gave them an introductory shroom dose, it went really well for them and I'm pleased about it.

This is 4,9g of B+, I gave them a bit over 1/5th of the tea by eyeballing it but they talked about separating from their body and floating away so I think I gave them more than I intended. They loved it so all good though :lol:



As for me? I drank the rest of the tea but got really mild effects, I haven't tripped in 5 weeks but it just didn't work. The start is pleasant, I feel the effects coming on and I start seeing things but the visions are dim and feel far away. My mind just freezes and the ups and downs of a proper trip don't happen. 2 hours later even the minor visuals were gone. I don't get the sedative effect I used to where my mind slows down and I sink to my bed/chair and the trip takes over. I was lucid the whole time and I can't help feeling disappointed. I am happy for my sibling though.

I need to figure out what's causing this and if I can fix it.

You don’t happen to be on a GLP-1 shot are you? Sounds like what I used to deal with.

No, I'm not taking any medication. I fear this issue is entirely psychological/physiological in nature. Almost like I'm on my guard too much due to bad trips of years past and I can't relax into it, I would need something to sedate me beforehand, Syrian rue could work.

I've had this issue before, I know that I can't properly trip around other people or when I'm not in my own home. It's also a Herculean effort to "try" to clear my mind for the fun stuff. The more I try to force it, the less likely I am to be successful. The only thing that works for me reliably is blankets, blindfold, and Dark Side of the Moon. I have to literally relax like I'm taking a nap and let go. Any attempts to engage with the trip will pull me out and immediately interrupt the synesthesia. I'm not sure if any of this is applicable for you, but hopefully there's something useful there.

I would suggest a meditation practice rather than adding more psychoactives.  Even something simple like learning to settle your attention in your breath and your heart.

Not that I have anything against Syrian Rue.  But sometimes less is more.

I also find the outdoors can help.  Change of scenery.  Birds chirping.  Insects humming.  Watching a gentle breeze blow through the trees.

I confess I never have really poured plates, well maybe once or twice in a SAB and hated it. I have been Pastyplate guy since his Easy Agar thread was published, that would have been not terribly long after I began lurking here. Still have some of the first glad mini rounds from when I got started with it. Then several years ago upgraded to the Mr. Alien "holy grail" style containers and kept on with it.

No-pours work well and that thread was groundbreaking and highly influential for me. It took me out of the MSS to grain stone age and made agar work accessible, so accessible that i never bothered to push further. I'm so bad at changing routines. But I've been FFUing for a number of years now so it's time to get a move on. Finally poured some plates :eek:

Well, shit. I was thinking about getting back in the cult saddle so I started looking over my supplies. Goddamn bugs got all of my rye and oats. About 80 pounds of grain spoiled. Damn it. I'll do better at sealing them next time...

What would cause a person to feel like they are disliked even though people are always happy to see them enter a room? Or cause them to feel (irrationally) that, at any moment, they could do or say something that would ruin a good/ friendly relationship?
