Agar and malt extrat are cheap - it cost like 10$ for agar and LME for making like 400 petris at least. I don't understand why you use cardbord?

Lol I just had to see if it actually works! I didn't just boil it I was scared it would contam so I PC'D The cardboard. But what's crazy is I had a few popcorn seeds I didn't scoop into the coir last time I made some mushies grow and they were sitting in the bottom of the fridge. a few days in dirty contammed tap water and they are still thriving on this ghetto tek. Now I can cut cardboard wedges and skip making agar once in awhile. Hehehe y'all hate to hear that dontchya? I like ghetto tek. Its just so.. Intruiging. Next time I'll just boil see if that's really all it takes.
