16 entries so far this month with more likely before its all over! Not bad for the first month, I think.

Hopefully our voting scheme will result in a clear winner. If not, we’ll figure it out so that next month is even better. I appreciate everyone that has entered a pic!

Peace to you, all, friends!

@MetalPro - excellent, thanks! Added & linked your entry. Next month will likely be wide open as well - any active variety. I’m thinking that once we have pretty solid month-to-month participation, we can try some experiments with more exclusive themes as subclasses of competition…not sure yet what that might look like, but I’ll give that some thought and try to execute on that sooner than later.

I appreciate your participation! Best of luck.

Just a quick bit of housekeeping as we begin a new month and a new round of competition. With this message I am memorializing for posterity the list of participants and entries for the prior month and resetting the current-round participant list (forever to be the 3rd post in this thread) to include all entrants that throw in during the new month.

CATEGORY FOR MAY 2026 WAS: any active variety

PRIOR-ROUND (MAY 2026) PARTICIPANTS:

Thanks to everyone that entered in May 2026, the inaugural round of competition, and thanks also to all others that checked out the thread as it was getting established! I will announce the May 2026 POTM Winner on June 5.

Here’s to a great month passed, and to an entirely fresh start to a new month’s competition!

Best of luck to all June 2026 entrants!
