Hah thanks! I was counting down the posts, until I realized I need to be able generate proven clean prints/swabs in order to trade lol so I’m going to start working that into the rotation next week when I do agar work. I typically work from spore syringe, and don’t perceive to run out anytime soon lol I will start developing a procedure using the teks here to generate prints I can test a portion of on agar. Once I know the procedure works for me, I can assure you I’ll be in there. I’m not about to waste anyone’s time or agar with contams.

A lot of it is just straight giveaways. I much prefer the goodwill of two way trades, but I’ve taken my share of giveaway prints as well. It is a whole other facet of the hobby to me. Enjoy!

what variety is that? those great stones are fucking sick all of my tampanensis have been brown with maybe a grayish outline for a week or two before it grew another layer or whatever.

are those pan cyan stones? I sure hope sclerotia is allowed cuz I'm devoting a little less than half this grow to some big ass stone jars lol

It's ATL #7. They look much more brown/yellow in person, just the lighting and saturation of the photo makes it look grayish. There's a couple monster stones in there for sure. I haven't got tamp stones yet. Working on some mexicana too.

Just 7 more days until voting day! Make sure to edit your “I’m in” post to add your entry photo there. It would be cool to know what variety is shown and any other details you care to share. Your “I’m in” post is linked from the participant’s list on 3rd post in this thread.

VOTING: The easiest way to review all the pics for voting is to go to the 3rd post in this thread, where the participants list is located, and visit each link. Make note of the USERNAMES for the entries you want to vote for.

THEN send me a PM no later than the end of the day on June 1, subject “VOTES” and put ONLY the usernames in the body of the message.

no other text is needed, just 3 usernames. If you wanna cast three votes for the same user, just list the same name 3 times.

I’ll announce the winner on June 5 and send out prizes afterwards.

We are coming down to final days of this month’s GROWER’S BEST PHOTO CONTEST! If you’re monitoring this thread and unsure whether to throw in a pic, please do!! See the prior message for voting info. Participants get 3 votes and can vote them in any way they like, (including 3 on one pic).

Still recommend holding off on voting until last day or month or first of June, as I expect we’ll get a few more entrants last-minute.

Winner will be announced on June 5.

New round starts on June 1!!

To load a pic, go to the "PICS" link under your name at the very top of the page & go through the UPLOAD process.
