Well like was promised, the biggest contest to ever hit the mushroom community is here

$5 per ticket, a maximum of 400 tickets will be sold. Contest will run 1 month, and there are 50 awesome prizes to be won.
Remember this is to help us buy our own server, not only are you getting a 1 in 8 chance of winning, but you are helping to VASTLY improve the number one site in the mushroom world.
To buy tickets, goto www.paypal.com and enter thor@shroomery.org for payment... There is no limit to how many tickets you buy, but only 400 tickets will be sold.

I think there should be some way that people can enter without having to use PayPal. PayPal is not an option for all. In fact, people who don't have credit cards and PayPal are likely to benifit more from winning a prize.
And just a note on the Captain's Plates, they consist of 5 different strains: B+, Tapalpa, Matias Romero, Wollongong and Treasure Coast.
This is prolly the biggest promotion I've seen in all my years at the shroomery, get a piece of it!

I've sent my donation for two tickets. I really don't care if I win anything, I just want to show my support for this kick ass site. I'm just surprised the tickets didn't go faster. For 5 bucks, you get a chance at a *lot* of really cool stuff. I bought a ticket the first day I heard about the raffle.

ok...i mailed off for 6 tickets i included my email in the money order i sent that was the day after the raffle started.....did u guys ever recieve my money order?
i never got an email saying u recieved it.
im not sure how long it will take somehting to get there but i think 2 weeks is enough time---

I am sorry TF I have nothing to do with that actual handling of this contest.
I like the other vendors just donated part of the prizes.
I know Thor and 3D are very busy but I am sure your MO made it through.

how is delivery being handled? will the deliveries be sent from the various vendors directly to the winners (winners supply the vendors with afddresses), or have the prizes already been consolidated (shipped form one single address, winners give their addresses to...?)

Each Vendor will ship their items to the winners... It will be a lot of work, but thats why this contest is so damn cool....
I doubt we'll see such a big contest like this again, well at least for many years
I'll update everyone tommorow on the tickets sold.. Also I will give an extra week for mail in orders for tickets to arrive, so the cut off date is Febuary 28th, but I will check my mailbox on the 5th of March and make the draws on the Friday... Just makes it easier for me to get over a few other shroomerites to verify the fair and accurate drawing of winners.

Hey thor, I entered the raffle via PayPal, and I have PMed you a coulpe of times since. I have yet to recieve my ticket numbers or however you are doing it. It is no big deal, I was plannning on buying more than $25 worth, but I do not want to buy any more until I recieve some kind of confirmation.
