Last pics before harvesting the mature fruits for prints.







Stem butts and small ones that got pulled up with larger fruits. US nickel (5c) for size comparison. Largest fruit was about 2.5" cap diameter.

After the previous harvest of roughly 30% of the fruits the rest decided to take off pretty well.






Decided to fully harvest the bag.



The tent fan definitely felt that spore dump.



Sadly, only one fruit showed any sort of bluing and only at the base.



I'm printing this cap to start the next gen.

Any TC that wants a print , check the TC forum for my giveaway post. Only TCs at this point, I'll make a public giveaway in the marketplace at a later date.

I honestly thought the spore load would be way worse.

Unfortunately, I don't trip these days. I tried wild Gym luteos in the past and the taste just wasn't worth the low potency.

So, I tried Gymn luteus on jars of sterilized chips, no ticker parade. They pinned but nothing developed. Tried them on plain coir, everything triched. Some subs stood for a loooong time, but in the end they went green.

Inoculated some AIOs and a few cakes to see if it was the culture... The cakes are just in the FC, spawned two AIOs, put the other two in fruiting... Two weeks later and they are pinning. Just cat litter pellets with a good spoonful of hydrated millet.



Haven't had anything pin on me in less than two weeks since growing pans last summer :shrug:

I’ve been curious about experimenting with cat litter pellets fo a while.
What’s your method with them?

Expanded them with boiling water, got them to field capacity, added  four heaping spoons of simmered millet. PCd for 75 minutes.
I made two jars with headroom for shaking and two 'cakes' that colonized very slowly. This is one of the cakes.

The expanded cat litter didn't smell resinous at all, so I'm guessing hwfp.

The cake that pinned first was hit by a big drop from the lid. And promptly aborted. New pins are coming up. The other cake is developing nicely.




Hope to take some clones and prints, for the real yields the logs and outdoor beds will have to chime in.

I checked the almost sporulating Gymns, held them up against the light and

DROPPED THE FUCKING JAR

so that's it for this cake. Total loss. Will take clones in an hour. Will use the ripped apart cake as spawn.
