Lemon juice will dehydrate just fine.

My guess is this won't work. The point of the lemon juice is to pre-convert the psilocybin to psilocin. Psilocin doesn't stand up well to heat. Therefore you will have fewer actives.

ReverendMyc has tested tea dehydration fairly extensively for gummy use and he claims great success.

What LK said is a valid point. The other concern is leaving the actives in lemon juice so long that they break down to the point to get anything from them. If the time spent in lemon juice isn’t an issue, then I would try a straight up evaporation without heat. Maybe with a small fan blowing on it. I do this when I make tinctures to reduce the alcohol to 10% of its original amount. I can reduce 100ml to 10ml in less than an hour with a small fan blowing across the surface. No doubt, it would work, and quickly at that. Also I use these in my water bottles all the time. They are pure lemon in crystallized form. I’m not sure what process the manufacturer uses, but I’d bet it’s dehydration or no heat evaporation. So I think this process can be done with a little trial and error.
