He's already purged federal election oversight and is currently firing any generals in the military that would possibly say no to him, and putting in his cult members in their place. The justice department is now run by his cult. The head of the FBI literally wrote a children's book where Trump is King and the democrats are all trying to bring him down.

Who exactly do you think is going to come in and save the day?

Yeah, the purging of the military is the last step then he can declare martial law or bring people out on the street and have them executed or pretty much whatever he wants.

The main complaint and thing driving people away from getting more electric vehicles on the road is a lack of places to be able to charge them.

What’s your solution?
Do you buy it yourself?
Should the consumer be in charge of purchasing these charging stations out of much larger cost than having the federal government do it?

Think for a second.
Do you want companies to compete and decide the prices for what it cost to have these built for you or do you want it to be as cheap as possible because it’s been done by the federal government?

What makes you think they were free?  Also, a lot of the federal vehicles are  electric.  It makes sense to have chargers for them since that's cheaper than paying a commercial charger, and it's way fucking cheaper than gas.

I’m indifferent on electric vehicles. Just stating the reason they are shuttering the charging stations at federal buildings.

How would everyone feel if they had free gas pumps at all federal buildings. At the end of the day that’s what it equates to.

The reason they’re being shuttered is much more petty. It’s because Joe Biden did it. That’s the only reason.

Why would I care if someone else gets free gas, other than the fact that gas is killing the planet, where as electricity there's a few ways to generate it that aren't so bad

I fully support electric chargers wherever possible, no matter where you are if you can plug in you don't have to specifically go to a charging station and kill an hour, if you could have just plugged in at your work or appointment or grocery store or coke dealer

They have no system in place to distinguish a federal vehicle from a federal employees vehicle.  So no they don’t charge the federal employee for the electricity. My boy was bitching about this last night because he’s been driving to Goddard space center and charging his car when he’s at work. He thought he was getting one up but the carpet got pulled from under him.

Before my wife went remote a few years ago she was thinking about buying one because the chargers on Ft. Belvoir were free at her office.

Why should it be free? Federal employees make plenty of money.

It’s free. I live in the epicenter of federal employees. My wife is a federal employee. My friends and neighbors are federal employees. My neighbor has been getting free charging for the last two years. My wife and I discussed getting an ev because of the free charging at her office.

The way you attract quality employees is with pay and benefits.  Offering free charging is dirt cheap, and it likely will attract better employees.

So now federal vehicles need to get taken offsite to charge which costs a lot more or be sold for pennies on the dollar.  Great way to save money.  God knows we don't want federal employees to get $10 of free electricity a month!!!!!
