That really depends upon if the rate of return is greater than the cost of borrowing and the risks you are willing to take with the investment or savings. One should also factor in expected decreases in the value of currency denominated investments brought about by inflation (such as with savings bonds). Many new business enterprises are helped by having access to other people's accumulated capital, so yes it can be a good idea (or a really bad idea).

Money is only a overemphasized mean. It depends what people make out of it. It should never be an end in itself. And...there are other means.

If you know what you are doing. This is actually quite a common method of acquisition in the market of real estate, particularly for the tyros of the investment arena.

That was my original line before alteration, but it showed my age too much, so I changed "Pink Floyd" to "Tool", even though I haven't even heard a single song of theirs. :smile:

What is most important to you? Some people love thier jobs, others hate them. What is more important to you, time or money? How bad is time you spend at work? Do you like doing things that do not require money? Would you be willing to settle for a hyundai instead of a porsche? Its a giant equation, everyone has thier own unique answer, and there is no black and white.
