Dunked for second flush and currently on day 4
Is the upper half contaminated? Should i separate the substrate if its contaminated? Please advice, thanks !

Because otherwise the MP tape on my jar lids gets soaked. It's there to help moisture from the PC getting under the foil and into the tape/jars.



The moist mp tape dries and is no problem. Paper towel is food for microbes being made of wood pulp which is carbohydrates.

I don't cover my jars with anything and my filters(sfd, micropore , poly, ez felt ect)  come out dry as a bone ( I also take them out hot though )

Hello
For context these blobs are fuzzy feet from the previous flush. Was told its alright to not remove it as the mycelium would reclaim it. But its the yellow shade thats worrying me.

Hi! Depends on what you ate, I like to compare it to alcohol or meds, if you're trying to have a quick onset trip that peaks higher but is shorter, I'd wait approx 4-6 hours for an empty stomach. I've eaten shrooms with a full meal and noticed it took longer to kick in but I still had a robust trip. Stomach upset is less, and not as much of that anxiety "there's a disturbance in the force" feeling you get from gutting them on an empty stomach. This is just my own experience, wish you the best!

Look up the hard plastic cases the coin collectors use. I forget what they're called, but I have some. You can get them for all coin sizes. If you wanted to do multiple chocolates per container, you can buy a plastic tube that is essentially a hard plastic coin roll.

I never seen that color in my tubs before. I have the same question, is that yellowing contamination? If it is, I usually just give up and throw it out (I keep the tubs though and bleach it)

I just realized my food dehydrator only goes up to 155 degrees. I know the standard is 165 for 24 hours. What should I do here?

Probably about the same 24hrs or so. Leaving them in for a few extra hrs won't hurt. I check the largest ones in the batch, when those are crispy dry I know the smaller ones are definitely done.

I want this to look like something I can present to people. Something that could be sold in the confectionery store or given as a gift. I don’t want it to look like a condiment cup.

I really like the custom matches box idea. The problem is every vendor sells them with matches. So basically I’m paying $20 for the matches and $22 for the custom boxes.

It’s not the worst thing in the world to have access of. But I really don’t have a use for a bunch of matches.

Oh now I understand. I’ve used the little boxes with a window that bakeries use for my baked gifts. Something like This.
