Ok I have an actual confession.

Despite all the advice I’ve given telling desperate people they won’t have success cutting contam out of their tubs, I sliced one of my grows in half to try to save it.

I sent 4 clones to bulk, and 3 died almost instantly from a slime mold. This one reached 95% surface colonization and shit the bed. And I really really wanted to see the results of this project. I know this will probably end badly. I know it was a fool’s errand. But I did it.

I cut out my contaminated substrate.

I almost feel like you should spray the cut part with isopropyl alcohol.
You’re living the dream. I hope it works.

I guess I'll cop to this, although my stories are limited since I've grown literally one tub.

I took my entire colonized substrate thinking it wasn't going to fruit, and broke it all up and cased it. Probably would've been just fine had I left it. Anyway, it did fruit to about 50g dry first flush.

I almost did at someone else’s request, but honestly
I really hate it. It’s 9/10 times what I see if I deal with contam

Dear god please let my eye brows grow back……
Confession - I used rubbing alcohol inside an SAB and when I lit the lighter to flame sterilize the needle inside the sab ……… well let’s just say it could have been worse I’ll settle with burnt eyebrows , a few ruined jars and melted carpet.

We had a huge one free-roaming the house that we named Fred!  Fred worked hard to get all the pests for us and would do communication leg dances when we wiggled our finger at him.  One day after about six months fred disappeared, only for hundreds of little Fredlets to appear all over the house!  Turns out fred was a lady, and she had babies!  We spent a lot of time helping the fredlets get outside to safety.

I still get happy/sad thinking of holding my hand out and saying "Fred, Uppies?" just to have fred jump on my hand and get transported to the next snack/pest.

They're so smart, you can see the gears working.

Jumpers are definitely the smartest spider. I enjoy their robotic movements and of course their fuzziness.

Had this guy appear above our bed one morning, pissed off and fading, fed it crickets for a week till it got some zest back then removed it to a tree about 20m behind our house, little sod reappeared above our bed a week later, fed it on and off for a few months till it disappeared again.

Also confess I was busy when my timer went off for my boiling grain, realised after 3 hours and the smell permeated the house, zero water left, grains almost overflowing, bit burnt at the bottom but they otherwise seem… ok’ish?
Gonna bag and pc anyway:shrug:

I confess I have no idea who this Gordo fucker is, I only know him by the misinformation we have to fix.

That's all I really need to know.
