Whatever works best for you. I started with an oil burner, then tried e-mesh, and finally landed with the lookah (the pro plus) it has worked the best for me. They have different style coils.

I started with an oil burner then went to the Apex volt v3. The Apex was good but I didn't like needing to take the 3 hits no matter how I took the hits. I felt like I lost a lot of the spice with it as well. Then the e-mesh blew me away. A true single hit with 25mgs-30mgs instead over 50+mgs. No worry about burning anything or myself. I'm glad you found something that works for you. Not being an ass about that either. I like being able to adjust the vape temperature since I cough easily. It's funny I smoked 2-3 packs of cigarettes for 25+ years and weed for almost as many and never coughed or noticed my lungs hurting.  I'm really a bitch when it comes to vapor or smoke now, so I really need the cooler vapor. I may go back to the Apex when I want to mix maoi into the journey so I can take my time getting to where I want to be without over doing it(minty has a video on this on YouTube). He says that the trip can last way longer and that the most profound things happen at the 15-30 minute mark on the comedown. It's got me wanting to try that.

E-mesh doesn't ue liquid or oil. You set the freebase directly on these finely graded mesh strips that vaporize the freebase instantly. It's the most efficient method to smoke DMT and a much much lower dose is needed than other methods.

Since I first saw the OP I've done a bit a research and totally understand what "e-mesh" is now and what the OP is talking about.

Pretty nifty! I imagine it works extremely well & efficiently!





I've used a bong with a small layer of herb and/or ash below & above the DMT, it was so hit & miss there were quite a handful of "Failed launches" when I was aiming to go way out as well as some surprises when I was not expecting or planning to go as far out as I did lol. The inconsistency of how effective it was would definitely contribute to more pre-flight jitters, having consistency with something like an e-mesh set up would be real nice (and with consistency one would be able to dial-in and become very familiar with the dosage profile/response, knowing where a certain dose is likely going to put them).


I've had pretty good success with oil pipes...especially when using a torch that can stand up on it's own, sitting on a nightstand next to my bed, with the flame turned down real low & tiny.

But no doubt this e-mesh is way more convenient & effective, and easy.



Even just using the e-mesh in a bong bowl, with multiple layers folded up sandwiching the DMT in the middle, and being soft with the flame/heat I feel would be pretty damn effective...still not quite as easy as pushing a button & inhaling tho lol.

From what I heard building a "machine" with some parts you could find around the house or dollar stores is really effective as well. E-mesh is the easiest, most effective thing I found to date once you get it put together.
LewDoja is right about the screens, e-mesh is expensive compared to them. I used to buy faucet screens at the hardware store and they were extremely cheap. I had over 1000 screens at one time and they lasted me 20+ years. I think I paid $5 for them.

Nice. Yeah, the effectiveness of the e-mesh is crazy, I hear. That's why I stress to people that you don't need much. Old trip reports will have people saying 50mg or "3 tokes" is needed for breakthrough. But that's back when smoking methods were primitive and far less efficient.

50mg on something efficient should be blackout levels, right? I wish I knew how much I got on my Yocan from the small amount I did the time I was overtaken by the entity, haha. I am of the opinion that it doesn't necessarily matter how much you do, at least after having done it a bit. Maybe it's that "reverse tolerance" thing? But I went 60-70x inhaling the same amounts that resulted in crazy CEV only. And then suddenly, that got me contact with entities and can change my entire room in a split second. Shit's wild, yo.

50mg isn't too much of you're not getting the full effect due to burning or not vaping correctly. The more efficiently you vaporize the spice the less you need.
