WBS Prep

Alrighty kids!
A friend of a friends dogs nextdoor neighbor, Is going to do some WBS for an outdoor patch (which he is documenting and will put up someday) and for some casings. Let me get this right for the prep.
1qt Jars, hole in lid for air exchange w/ polyfill.
First, going to get the jars ready, drill holes etc.
Then rinse off the WBS, then let soak for 12hrs, then rinse again, and fill the jars 1/2 full.
Screw on lid & cover top of jar with alum foil? but not super tight so air can get out through polyfill, but hopefully no water gets in.
Then pressure cook for 60min sounds good.
Let cool, then grain - 2 - grain with one of the pf cakes that should be ready by tomorrow.
Re-Cap, leave polyfill in for breathing, let incubate at the normal 84-86 temps for a couple days, SHAKE to spread around my myc. Then let colinize untill ready for use.
This sound about right?
Also, while the WBS is soaking, can you put a little h2o2 in there just for good measure?

Other than that everything looks good.  u dont need hte h2o2 its all going to be PC'd..  And dont be afraid to let ur wbs sit longer.  Iv let it sit for days and its always perfect.  Im also glad u went with poly fill as opposed to Tyvek, imo polyfill is better in every way no waste and no tape. 

Oh and what are u doing your PF to grain in??  I do mine in a rubbermade wiht a clear top that i clean with bleach and water but I still wish i had a flowhood..

Good luck with grain. Ull never go back to PF. :laugh:

Havent made the glovebox yet. Was planning on making a temp one for this transfer out of a cardboard papercase. Someone read about one somewhere that seemed pretty simple. Pictures will be taken of whatever ends up being used.

Use the oven tek for th g2g, works for me.
