Failed WBS Jars

Forwarded from SWIM:
"About 2 weeks ago, I PCed 7 WBS jars and inoculated them using homemade spore solution. I then left for spring break, expecting to see good growth when I returned a week later. When I returned there was no growth whatsoever. I decided that I would let the jars sit for a week to see if anything developed (be it mycelium or a contam). It's been a week and 2 days, and there is nothing growing in the jars. There is no myc, but there is no contamination either. The jars smell perfectly normal. I think that I'm going to PC them again (probably for 30 mins) and reinoculate them using a more reliable syringe (purchased from a vendor). Does anyone see any problems with this? I am particularly worried about PCing the WBS again. By the way, it was cooked for 60 mins the first time. Thanks a lot for your help."
Since this is from SWIM, I suspect that it is completely untrue, and it should be taken as such. Just to humor SWIM though, please reply to his query.

SWIM says: "The strain was EQ . . . I have had success with WBS quart jars w/ polyfill once, and I used the exact same method this time. I previously used PES Hawaiian. I'm not certain that I allowed my syringe to rehydrate . . . come to think of it, this may be what I overlooked. I'd never even made a sporeprint previous to this, much less a syringe, so I think this was the downfall. I am not worried about my sterile techniques, and this is backed up by the fact that there is no contamination after 2 weeks. I don't really want to wait another week because I will be leaving here (school) in May, so every week counts. How would you proceed? I'm thinking that I'll just reinoculate using a Hawaiian syringe (the one I used before, so I know it's viable). Please let me know if this is either wise or un-wise."

I don't know, it's not PF-tek? I didn't really think it was either but I haven't gotten any reponses, so I checked the advanced forum to see what types of content were in there. There was some stuff that seemed to be simpler than mine so I figured that maybe I'd have better luck there. Whatever, I don't really care where my question is or who answers it, I just want to get an answer. Edit - Here's an example.

DON'T pc that shit again start over with new substrate if you must if you' re hell bent on re inocc. just use a little fluid as jars may be wet patience is your mantra when the spores germinate they should take off like wild fire so long as moisture and temps are optimal
at least thats what kramer says

Thank you. You don't see any concerns about PCing again? I do have concerns about my WBS turning into mush, or being dried out too much (I know PCing is a wet heat rather than dry, but it doesn't seem like any type of heat would add moisture). Edit - Thank you Kramer.
