I went to an event not long ago where it was vax card required. They were literally not checking shit at the door. Some people would flash a card of paper for a microsecond without it getting read or confirmed, and they'd get allowed into the building without question. I saw a few people mutter some "exempt, cant, dont have" and they were allowed in without question too.

And this again, family memb just flew this last week across multiple oceans and continents, mutiple planes etc. Never once asked about covid or vax status.

These mandates are a joke, everyone knows theyre a joke except Australia for some reason, im confident theyre going fade more and more, just give it a little time

I never said everyone was gonna do it. "not everyone is gonna do the right thing, so why should I? Why should I even get upset about it when people do the wrong thing, since I always knew some of them would?"

Well, aside of the fact that I don't believe it's 'wrong' to not get the vaccine, it has been said several times over in this thread that if 'everyone' had vaxxed it would all be over by now (which it clearly wouldn't, given this new variant).

I'm not saying you said that, but it has definitely been said a few times over.

Not that I agree that it is a selfish act to choose to be unvaccinated in the world as it is today, but are you telling me you do nothing for selfish reasons?

I think, if one reflects honestly on the state of the human condition, then almost everything anyone does is done for selfish reasons.

This makes no sense. Everyone isn’t vaccinated and that’s why we keep getting variants. Variants arise in people whose infections linger for multiple replication cycles, who then pass their mutated viruses on to other people. This doesn’t happen in vaccinated people to any significant degree.

You’re talking about immune memory. It’s pretty unlikely someone who was infected last year has detectable antibodies. They fade at a pretty steady rate. The commercial tests aren’t that sensitive. You’d have to get a laboratory Elisa assay. The only way to boost them is being reinfected or with the vaccine.

Like ive said to you many times, half the poor population doesnt even have access to even first vax so your argument is invalid if youre worried about varient production among anti-vaxers.

In a computer model where you vax 100% of the people with access to  the vax, there are still varients arising where the vax isnt available, and thus infections brought in, and reinfections in the vaxed, failed vaccinations, more infections etc.

For your idea to work, "The Grand Koods Plan" the vax needs to be admisitered through the drinking water in every city, town, and village in the world, and that wouldnt even work.

South Africa has had enough vaccine supply for the entire population for months. It’s not supply, it’s the losers who won’t get vaccinated.
