Well this is interesting. It’s a bit mysterious how omicron could accumulate so many mutations without being detected. One theory is it evolved in a single person with a chronic infection, but now there may be another: omicron has been circulating in rodents, and made a jump back to humans. Unlike other variants, omicron can infect mice.

Bro you are comparing nursing to raising a person. You have responsibilities I don't but don't act like you know anything about raising a kid. Your patients don't need you in the middle of the night. And selfishness is a moralistic bias, meaning it's up to you to decide. You are acting like you have the moral high ground while fallating your place in life in a manner that makes it seem like it's vastly more than it actually is. You are definitely throwing yourself a parade.

At least the vaccines are actually doing a lot of good for the money that gets spent. I'm sure Big Parma is making a killing off shit like remdesivir and monoclonal antibodies and other less effective treatments. I'm not sure how the cost/benefit model works for this kind of thing, but I'd imagine it's pretty obvious that widespread vaccination is a good investment if the USA is willing to subsidize it and give out some free health care for once, while the rest of the public health system's major problems get ignored. You crazy antivaxxers and your hairbrained schemes are making big pharma richer all the time.
