Yeah, it's the bats and camels we need to vax first. Rats and deer have to wait.

Venison is ok but elk is awesome. Prion diseases are scary, but I don't think any humans have ever died because of CWD. Since BSE has killed people, it's probably possible...

koods, I have a couple of questions.

1.) If one is double-vaccinated with pfizer and ends up infected with COVID, will they get an increased immunity other than just from the vaccination?

2.) Basically, does the body come up with additional immunity by fighting off a variant not specifically made for by the vaccine?

I've searched about and I haven't found an answer on this other than the fact that the vaccinations confer a high immunity if reasonably recent since having had them.

If true, then all this guff about natural immunity is long over (aside the risk of being unvaccinated which in itself is a no brainer).

Yes and yes

The body even makes antibodies for variants not in the vaccine without getting infected, but it takes a few months. B cells create random mutations over time that get amplified when you get vaccinated with the booster.

You still get natural immunity without the vax and boosters. Many studies find the natural immunity to last longer than vax immunity.

My brother was on 3 shots from not even half a year ago and he just recently got over a 3 week long covid bed ridden infection and hes on 3 shots, masks, and pro vax attitiude. WTF pfizer? Hes had a history of getting respitory infections, and he had some kind of influenza as a kid. I am pissed that the vax and boosters didnt do shit to keep him from that bad of an infection. Im sure Karenkoods will say "well he woulda died without the 3  shots".

That's just anecdotal evidence, second hand even. Quick, someone show me a graph with numbers that make me feel comfortable about all this.

My naturally acquired immunity from the first infection lasted 18 months, then I got Delta. Both times sucked, but I feel like I have a pretty good stash of antibodies right now. I'm going to fuck omicron up if it fucks with me.

Nobody is getting hurt from omicron, seems omicron has nothing to do with your previous infection or antibodie status. Omicron is simply a weak and non threatening illness.

Im thinking we probably want the varients to speed up, since each varient tends to be weaker and weaker. If koods argument that the unboostered are variant factories, then lets go! Fuck the boosters, we need to speed up the variant production so that the pandemic fizzles out

You are clueless. Omicron is covid. You test positive for covid with omicron on the antigen test, which uses covid antibodies to detect the antigens. You test positive on PCR tests, which detects covid RNA
