DMT VISUALS
    #27288549 - 05/01/21 12:42 AM (2 years, 8 months ago)

Hi everyone!

Just signed up to ask a question.

When I smoke DMT I get really cringe/tacky visuals. Almost like a corny showground fair or outdated style of imagery. Why is this? The things I’m seeing make me go like “urrrgh really, that’s what I’m being shown?” Like if 90’s punk rock black and white checkers fashion is not what you like but you find yourself in a store that’s specific for that fashion style you just want to leave. Why is that? I smoke it in the hopes of seeing or experiencing really cool or profound things or even just chilling to enjoy the ride but I end up opening my eyes and looking at things in my surroundings because what I’m being shown with my eyes closed is not my style at all. It sounds superficial but the thought of why it happens the way it does perplexes me. The images or shapes etc are really just not my style. Any insight into this dilemma I am having?

try pressure phosphenes:
http://optica.machorro.net/Optica/SciAm/Photophenes/1981-05-body.html

if you do it right it can amp the visuals up a lot. You don't have to open your eyes either, but I would anyway. Psychs amp up phosphenes. Pressure phosphenes amp up visuals. The longer and harder you hold the greater the visuals. It could actually be overwhelming doing this, and it was for me when I first did it, but I do it every time now.

The things your subconscious is showing you isn't the style of your conscious mind? Lol.

Try mixing harmalas or other MAOIs. You will go much deeper and your visions will play out more like stories than random flashes of apparently meaningless stuff.

Or up your dose. Hit 50mg solid and do the whole OBE thing. Guaranteed to make you question your sense of style.

The issue isn’t lack of visuals, my visuals are very vivid and intense, I just don’t like any of them. They’re cheap and tacky visuals. Not what I am interested in seeing. It’s like it can see what I don’t like and chooses to show me that. They aren’t bad trips, it’s just awkward because the visuals I am seeing are really lame and not in my taste at all.

Yes that’s exactly what I mean. The visuals I am seeing are not in the interest of my conscious mind. I guess upping the dose would almost definitely and hopefully help. I just was after an answer as to why when I smoke the amount of DMT I do it’s showing me really lame, tacky, tasteless visuals?

It depends on the source and the overall vibes of how the DMT was extracted. The DMT I smoked showed me visuals that were so beautiful, everything was explained and that information changed reality forever even though only I saw it. What that means is I should be getting a ton of pussy everyday, yet, that plan has, apparently, yet to be implemented because they don't believe me. The message hasn't been spread enough yet.

I'd recommend ayahuasca. Smoking dmt can be so brief and after many times can feel repetitive. The last time I smoked and saw some visuals it was something I'd seen a dozen times before so I smiled and was like that's nice but kindof a waste of my time. Ayahuasca I feel there is a lot more to explore though. The last Aya trip I had was like a 6 hour dream. All of my thoughts were being visualized in full scenes and scenarios that were all linked and evolving in a progressive story.

Superstition, it is a chemical, not a magical substance.

You are missing more than half the experience if you aren't mixing it with harmalas.
Make some changa to this ratio... 1g DMT, 1g leaf, 0.6g harmalas. Put all the ingredients in a little ethanol and stir it over and over. Dry it properly and then smoke 100mg in a bong in one long slow hit. Hold it in until you can hold no longer.
This ratio and technique is super popular among a lot of experienced DMT users. All my people do this, it's what I do too.

A brilliant example of you resisting what the DMT is telling you.

Do you know what visuals I mostly had in my first years of MXE?

SAND.

Stupid, moist. sand.

I persevered and escaped what turned out to be a learning cave and into the deeper realms.

Maybe invest more effort into your relationship with DMT.

If DMT is showing you something and you're like "d00d I;m liek, so not dealing with this." it is successfully triggering something in you, an ISSUE, triggered by the DMT equivalent of plaid and corduroy.

your style today is delusion.
the images you see in dreams and dmt are your personal internal archetypes, unaffected by your current style or intentions.

they are so dope
they are much more other worldly than mushrooms and dmt
it is like jewels
it is like you are in a different more paradise world
what is around you becomes covered in a other worldly jewel gift/treasure

perhaps you just don't like tryptamine style visuals?  I find that hard to believe with DMT, but for instance, i just don't really care for mushroom visuals.  Not saying they aren't visuals, they just aren't as interesting for me.

But LSD, holy shit - i LOVE LSD visuals.  I've watched the world go full cartoon 2D land, I've watched my friends faces change into other people or characters in complete perfect real vision like the best CGI possible.  Elves, pirates, eastern indian men.. all sorts of stuff.  Not only that, but I've seen Indian gods too.. the most beautiful sacred geometry.  The walls have words and cool psychedelic lettering, beatles yellow submarines, phish fish, etc.

Even looking at the mirror is insane, I see true hallucinations.

I'm not the biggest DMT fan, but I think it just hasn't called to me yet.

it's good for combining
smoked rue would probably make it very awesome
or extract
oral makes it more fine and advanced and refined
I like lsa and salvia
one of the best combos I've found

dmt is the most awe inspiring psychedelic
I remember being like WOOOOOW
I have never freaked out on a nother psychedelic like being amazed so so extremely
the others are good enhancers they do the trick and they don't leave you disappointed and they transform your time to closer to a paradise world and it may be there already with other entities

I mean salvia has had some of the coolest visuals I have ever seen in my life, I actually prefer salvia visuals to DMT visuals.  But there's nothing to it other then that, and I can't stand every other part about it.

Regardless, DMT has never blown me away visually.. but I've also never broken through.  I've seen some beautiful things, and some crazy fractals, but I've never broken through which might be the key to me getting more into DMT and having a better understanding of it.

Hehe what are you waiting for? I see some people say they prefer sub-breakthroughs or are working their way up to a breakthrough. There's something that happens when you pass that threshold... it's a whole magnitude above itself. Comparing low-dose dmt to breakthrough dmt visuals is like comparing weed to lsd. That's why threads like this are so provoking because OP clearly hasn't gone all the way yet  It's exciting to see someone approaching their first breakthrough. The utter disbelief and amazement is such a treat and can't be shared through words or any other way than the experience itself, which makes it that much more special.

Words can hardly describe the things I have seen on DMT. Beyond what I thought capable of my imagination.

Interesting.. I guess Ill just have to go there sometime when it's right.  I think a lot of people tend to force it with DMT, which I'd rather not do.  When the time comes for me to experience a breakthrough, it will happen, and I'm sure it will be beautiful - one day, soon enough.
