His policies on immigration were great--- just look at the crisis we are in now, now we are having 100k people detained PER MONTH at the border because of Biden's reversal of Trump's immigration policies.

They have brought back "Catch & Release," where they simply release illegals who have been detained back into the United States with a court date--- We all know majority will never show up for court--- So now you have illegals in the country, who cant get legitimate employment and are now entitled to social services--- the last estimate was that there were 30 MILLION illegal immigrants in this country--- That is an extraordinary economic burden that is placed on American Tax Payers.

Trumps energy policies were amazing- the United States became energy independent for the first time and the worlds leader in oil production-- Joe Biden is killing energy sector jobs by the week. Anyone in the Gas and Oil Industry will be able to confirm this.

Operation Warp Speed--- Sure people can argue that there would be a Vaccine regardless of Trump and Operation Warp Speed, and that is accurate-- But I do not think it would have happened at the same pace without Trump-- The fastest Vaccine production in human history.

Trump cutting off international travel in January of 2020 was HUGE-- especially from China-- Everyone called Trump as Racist for this move but then later admitted the move likely saved countless lives by limiting the number of additional infected people entering the country

Trumps tarriffs on China have been extremely effective-- China agreed to the largest economic deal ever with the United States under Trump-- United States Farmers benefitted greatly from deals with crops and meats.

Trump actually made progress on the Peace in the Middle East and no escalation of matters in North Korea-- and did not enter into any new wars-- which is a big deal.

Trump has been against "Lockdown," policies during the Pandemic and has been a champion of personal liberties and individual freedom-- which is something I have agreed with as well--

Okay, so you successfully dodged my "What Trump policies do you have a problem with," by asking me to outline my support-- So I ask again-- Why do you hate Trump? What specific policies do you have a problem with?

Your assessment of the economy and job market under Obama vs. Trump is not accurate--- unemployment was at an all-time low under Trump.

You can not blame Trump for the IRS Tax Code-- That was in place long before Trump came into office-- I do not have a problem with any of his cuts, he did not raise taxes on anyone. No American had their taxes increase under Trump. Period.

Next time, Troll someone else.

I really wasn’t trying to troll you. It just seemed like any improvement in your life came from the fact that you quit using hard drugs. I read your other posts, that’s all. Sorry that I didn’t remember correctly

Yes me quitting drugs would lead to an improvement, but the speed in which I have been able to economically recover--- I attribute to a Trump economy.

Everyone is entitled to their own political opinions-- But why can we not debate and discuss his actual policies? No one wants to do that--

I would love to actually talk about what Trump policies you dont like or agree with--- usually when you ask a Democrat this question they have to say "everything, hes a racist," because they are ignorant to the actual topic and can not actually identify something that is truly a bad policy

He lost more jobs that any president in American history.

He’s said the coronavirus would go away last April.

He said he would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it. Now people are streaming across a border with an apparently useless wall we had to pay for

Of course you can blame him for the tax code. He was president for four years, with both houses of Congress in his party’s control.

When he took office unemployment was at 5%. When he left office it was at 8%

When Obama took office unemployment was at 9% and when he left office it was 5%

But yeah Trump did a better job.

He also is anti abortion, anti-environmental renewables, and anti immigration.  Aka he isnt progressive at all.

Mexicans havent ever been taking our jobs really, except when wealthy (most likely Red-voting) farm owners decide to cut corners on legal labor and exploit migrants.  He literally built his first platform on "lock her up" and "build that wall, mexico" that mind you we are paying for actually. Also he refused to admit he lost an election fairly to the point angry Republicans stormed the capital and got people killed, with no proof that he won whatsoever and lots of proof that he lost.  He also tip toed on acknowledging racial issues.  Hes a crook

I didn’t dodge anything.

His tax plan was shit. His labor policy was shit. His environmental policy was shit. His defunding and management of federal agencies were shit. His immigration policy was ineffective shit.

Do you want the names and numbers of the actual bills and pieces of legislation that were shit?

As far as unemployment:

“More jobs were lost during the Trump administration than any other in history. Approximately 4 million fewer people were employed from January 2017 to September 2020, according to the most recent publicly available data.”

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/11/06/fact-check-pandemic-unaccounted-presidential-job-growth-chart/6177339002/

Snopes explains why the unemployment statistic dropped so low under Trump:

“No evidence showed Trump or his administration's fiscal or regulatory policies caused the 50-year low. Rather, the unemployment rate was steadily declining as part of the country's overall recovery from the Great Recession before he took office.”

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/unemployment-low-trump/

Here’s Forbes (the most pro Capitalist news outlet around) explaining how Trump was shit:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckjones/2020/02/07/obamas-last-three-years-of-job-growth-all-beat-trumps-best-year/?sh=3ff02b386ba6

You’ve been in dire economic straits before so I’m assuming you’ve utilized various welfare services like Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment insurance? All these programs are constantly under attack by the Republican Party, often by the Democratic Party too, but always by the Republicans.

I would say the worst stuff he did as president was related not to policy but to his election lies culminating in the Jan 6th insurrection. Other than that he would have been pretty forgettable, an incompetent leader who was utterly unable to inspire confidence or loyalty in anyone he hired. Not politically savvy enough to do as much real damage with the office as he might have liked.

Trump had a worse stock market performance than Obama despite bragging about it constantly

Obama took the deficit from $1.6 trillion to $600 billion

Trump took the deficit from $600 billion to $4.6 trillion

Trump was a total disaster and left the country in the worst shape it’s been since the Great Depression

"Trumps tarriffs on China have been extremely effective-- China agreed to the largest economic deal ever with the United States under Trump-- United States Farmers benefitted greatly from deals with crops and meats."

Ok, I'll shoot this one down..... Trump gave WELFARE to the farmers who suffered due to his tariffs. The average consumer covered BOTH the increased cost of products AND the payoff to the farmers.

B) No-- Republicans did not hold both the House and the Senate. Now I can not take anything you say seriously when you are wrong about something so basic and undisputable-- If youre going to argue that Republicans held both sides of Congress then we have no starting point at all.

I’m torn on the worst thing he did.

His inability to lead on wearing masks and fomenting revolt against public health measures is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. After getting covid and being saved from going on a ventilator with experimental treatments that weren’t available to the public at the time, he left the hospital and acted like covid was no big deal. Multiple times the White House was the source of the largest outbreaks in the entire national capital region. You

The worst single event was when he ordered federal troops to clear Lafayette park with tear gas and pepper balls so he could walk across the park and take a picture in front of a church where he was not welcome.

What you said outlined one of the MAJOR differences between the left and the right.

You're right, to 99% of us, COVID isnt a big deal--- and that is the point-- Trump didnt want 100% to suffer for a virus that 99% of people would be fine from

The left believes that the 1% of life loss is worth shutting everything down.

Unemployment numbers are just one measure. Take a look at gross income, wealth disparity, those with multiple jobs versus just one, the measures are many, but if you stand on unemployment alone you aren’t saying much of anything. That’s especially true when true after Trump completely mishandled COVID and totally wrecked the bit of gains he made, even if they were comprised of low wage/quality jobs.

https://www.epi.org/publication/swa-wages-2019/

Also, border apprehensions have risen every month since last May 2020. That’s 7 consecutive months that Trump was still president. In May of 2019, they detained 132,000 migrants, which is still higher than Biden’s numbers. That makes you wonder, how did Trump fuck up the border so bad? He even stole money from the military for a wall, and yet, as that wall was at it’s most completed state migration increased. For an enlightened shroomerite it’s amazing how unaware of the facts you are.

Can we stick to what actually happened not the predictions of a guy who thought trump did a good job.

And that graph shows the stock market performance. What exactly is the problem with it except that it shows your god emperor once again lagged behind Obama.

Well trump was president. It was his job to respond to the the national emergency he himself declared and he failed miserably. That’s why he lost the election.

The only thing you seem to credit him for is keeping your taxes low, but from what it sounds like in your previous posts you never paid taxes in the first place.

How much worse would it have been without any shutdown? I live in a red state, we shut ourselves down because the virus was raging. Had nothing to do with the left.

What scares me is that you essentially belonged to this impoverished, neglected strata of society that has been written off by conservatives, but you came away from that experience with zero empathy

What is funny about that is I used to be a Democrat--- then I learned just how much waste and exploitation takes place. I lived it and witnessed it on every level.

Today what is important to me are my individual freedoms, the safety and security of my family, my health, and my happiness-- Donald Trump supported the things I value. I liked someone who had no filter-- After 8 years of Obama, who could make anything sound like poetry and lie straight to your face, it was extremely refreshing.

The way Democrats have embraced "Cancel Culture," and the idea that America is fundamentally Racist has really turned me off.
