It would be a conflict of interest if he were elected President and didn't get rid of his foreign interests, which he probably doesn't want to do since he's trying to brush this whole thing under the rug.  If he influenced policy in Ukraine to help Hunter's companies, that would be problematic too.

We never discussed that story much.  I'm not clear what might have been wrong with Ivanka getting trademarks in China.

What Joe Biden might have done wrong is influence US policy with other countries to help his son's businesses.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

The clock's been ticking since 2015.  No one has come forward to say that Biden convinced him/her that money should be withheld from the Ukraine.  Trump's been in control of the DOJ for a few years now, and there have been no indictments.  If there was something there, we'd have seen some action by now.

Perhaps we should go through the financial records of all Biden's residential properties, office blocks and golf courses to make sure he earned an all fairly... of course we would need access to all his foreign banks accounts and tax returns.. .

At a campaign rally in Waterford Township Michigan, Trump said that doctors were inflating the numbers of Covid deaths for monetary gains.

"Our doctors get more money if somebody dies of Covid. You know that right? I mean our doctors are very smart people. So what they do is they say 'I'm sorry but everybody dies of Covid'".

IMO very defective people believe that other people are highly defective as well. Recall trump once said Republicans were the only ones who would be stupid enough to vote for him.

Medicare Payment Improvements and Flexibilities
The bill provides additional funds to providers caring for Medicare beneficiaries.

Sequester
It eliminates the Medicare sequester from May 1 through Dec. 31, 2020.

DRG Add-on
During the emergency period, the legislation provides a 20% add-on to the DRG rate for patients with COVID-19. This add-on will apply to patients treated at rural and urban inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) hospitals.

Expanded Option for Accelerated Payments
It also expands the Medicare hospital accelerated payment program during an emergency. Specifically, in addition to IPPS hospitals, the bill expands the program to children’s hospitals, cancer hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAHs). All eligible providers are able to request accelerated payments for inpatient services that cover a time period of up to six months. The amount of payment is up to 100% (or up to 125% for CAHs) of what the hospital would have otherwise received, up from 70% in the current program, and payment could be made periodically or as a lump sum. The bill also extends the timeframe for recoupment of the accelerated payment: hospitals will have up to 120 days until their claims are offset to recoup the funds, and at least 12 months before being required to pay any outstanding balance in full. Currently, the program requires full recoupment within 90 days of the accelerated payment being issued.

Medicaid Financing
Several of the provisions will increase Medicaid financing for states.

It seems like a good bill, but I'm of a suspicious nature due to the timing. I think the Republican Senators who are up for reelection are trying to save their asses. Suddenly they care about people on Medicare and Medicaid?

Thanks for clearing some of that up. But I dont know who giuliani is or his connection to the bidens or ukraine necessarily. I'm saying giuliani could be lying about who the big guy in the emails is. I'll be the first to admit though I dont know much about the story so I'm really just trying to gauge everyones opinions.
