So if I asked one American about Trump, what would they say?  Obviously that depends on who I ask and what side they were on.

The same is true of former Russians.  I know a LOT of former Russians, and they are about as divided on their opinions of the old Soviet Union as we are on Trump.  Most say it was good, but many hated it.

So having experienced it means nothing, really.

It's not over yet.


The odds of Bernie having enough delegates before the convention were always slim. I kept saying I thought he could prevail at a brokered convention if he had a sizable lead over his opponents. It looks to me now like the best case scenario is him and Biden ending up close and I think we all know what the Democratic Party will do then.

There is hope if enough people listen to Biden talk, but I think he gets the nomination and then it dawns on everyone that he's a blithering idiot.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but I hope it has some resemblance to Chicago in 68. That resulted in McGovern being nominated in 72. He got slaughtered, but at least it showed the party had to react to dissatisfaction.

And if Iowa is any indicator of things to come, we won't see the final number until AFTER March 10, when Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, and Washington vote.

Whether it is an elaborate, high-up conspiracy or not, Bernie is definitely getting fucked left and right.

As I said in my other thread, no one with any sense of awareness would wait in line for hours to cast a vote for Joe Biden. Circumcising yourself with a cheese grater would be a better use of your time and would make more of an impact on America. He'll chain us in place for 4-8 years.

Good thing he would never beat Trump tho. Trump has funny dementia, Biden has sad dementia. No one is voting for sad dementia.

That helps explain why Sanders margin of victory in California was less than expected.

I saw this guy on Bill Maher. He was a mayor or maybe a former mayor. I can't remember if his city was in Texas or maybe it was Birmingham. His example of voter suppression was that the polling places were refusing to accept student IDs for identity verification but they were accepting NRA membership cards.
