The Bernie Bros are back!

I just can’t support Sanders because of the toxicity of his supporters. Voting warren. Four years under a cult of personality is enough.

I was being facetious, clearly (Maybe not so clearly as I thought).

Also, your reasoning for not voting for Bernie is fucking stupid, but I'm not trying to steal your vote away from that piece of shit candidate. You're too far gone.

Great interview with Killer Mike on NPR today. Somebody should post it.

It's amazing there are still people out there who trust CNN and the NYT.  Obvious fake news once again.

The people here who like make believe (we know who they are) seem to like these sources.  :shake:

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

We know that there are variable levels of truthiness. Just the other day you argued that an article that we agreed is false still makes worthy points. The same should apply to CNN and NYT I’d imagine.

What does RT have to do with this?

Regardless, why don't you be the first to post a fake news story from RT?

I don't remember which story that was.

Regardless, of course CNN and NYT times make worthy points.  I just wish they were closer to 100% reliable.

Hasn't this been done before, possibly even multiple times?

Seem to recall Enlil calling attention to a fake news story they did, which you then stated was not recent enough to count

then when the fake news story of NATO exercises "near" the border was brought up
you seemed to take the position that them publishing fake news is okay because there is similiar fake news on the other side

Enlil mentioned a story that was well over 5 years old that questioned the official 9/11 narrative, before anyone ever heard of RT, and before they took the story down. So the challenge was then to find a single lie in the last five years from RT.com, which no one could do.

Enlil then brought up a recent RT story saying NATO was conducting exercises in Norway near the Russian border.  Norway touches Russia, and the word "near" is obviously subjective, so it was ruled not a lie because the US has called the entire Western Hemisphere "near" to US borders.

Why don't you be the first to post a fake news story from RT?

This has to help Sanders in the important state of Wisconsin.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rep-mark-pocan-announces-hes-endorsing-bernie-sanders-in-wisconsin-primary/ar-BBZ1cWY?ocid=spartandhp

Liberal representative Mark Pocan (Madison District/University of Wisconsin) endorsed no one in 2016 and he's coming out strong for Bernie this year.

Let's see the momentum snowball.

Seem to recall stating only a week or two back that you would try to utilize persuading a jury of one
as a justification for RT posting fake news
and now you are just doubling down that subjective fake news on one side justifies fake news on the other side

honestly, this small response chain makes me question the validity of all the Pro-Russian information you have been posting over the years
fortunately for you, am too lazy to go digging into your preferred news source, so you will reply to my post with a narrative about how forum readers can therefor trust your input, because you took a brief vacation years ago

RT was claiming within days of the Fukushima accident that Chernobyl was no longer the worst nuclear distater. That is such bullshit. The amount and type of radiation release was much worse in Chernobyl. The fucking core exploded and was left open exposed for weeks. The death toll in Chernobyl was orders of magnitude worse.

RT engages in desperate whataboutism when it comes to nuclear power plants. When we had an earthquake here in DC, this was their lead:

“DC earthquake turns off two nuclear reactors” Scare mongering. It is completely normal for reactors to be taken offline after a large earthquake.

They seem pretty salty that a 5.9 mag earthquake in the capital city of the United States - large enough to shut down the federal government - took attention away from whatever was happening in Libya.

Look, if you think NATO exercises in Norway aren't "near" Russia, but Russian exercises in Venezuela are near the US, then you're free to feel that way.  Not everyone would agree on something that subjective.

Do not feel that way, could you point to my post stating such so it could be corrected for whatever grammatical error gave that impression?

even in this sub-discussion in this thread, referred to such claims as being fake news

if it is in another thread, would genuinely appreciate a link

The Fukushima story was over five years old and it was based on western media stories:

Why the Fukushima disaster is worse than Chernobyl
Move Over Chernobyl, Fukushima is Now Officially the Worst Nuclear Power Disaster in History

You might not be interested in a story about earthquakes, but that doesn't make it fake news.

Thanks for clarifying you thought "near" was fake news in both stories.

Again, that's highly subjective when it comes to military exercises.
