The Bay Area has nuts weather. You can walk 20 minutes and the temperature will be 30° different

One side of San Francisco has a different climate than the other side of the hill


That's one of my favorite things about the area. If you know the area you can travel to these little micro-climates. It's really nice to be able to pick your weather and terrain for hiking and outdoor activities. It's like 3 hours to the closest glacier and 4 hours to Death Valley.

Fortunately, everything went well for me
got there relatively early, which had a bonus for me as it meant getting to schedule my assessment session among the first rather than waiting and taking whatever is left
have to fill out a bunch of forms and have a sense of what I would like my voice to sound like by my appointment on Feb 6th now

get bothered sometimes when filling out medical background forms
they have numerical assessment systems to gauge how bad things like dysphoria are, and my ranking is stupidly high x-X

I miss the doctor that I had when I was small

He gave me a cookie on my way out

I think they should give us candy

I thought about going to a casino

Going upstairs when there is a big crowd

Just yell out hey you guys want some candy

Than I'll just make it rain candy all kinds

Could you go to jail for that ?

I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago and was told to walk it off and essentially was turned away. Doctor refused to do x-rays and actually "threatened" to give me a "big painful shot". I hobbled out half way through my appointment. 3 weeks later, after seeing a good doctor, I am awaiting back surgery for a severely ruptured disc and haven't been able to stand straight for 4 weeks.
At least candy would have made that experience slightly better I suppose.

I hate the doctor and the dentist.  I haven't been to a dentist in 10 years.  I brush and floss daily, and I've used a Sonicare toothbrush the entire time.  My teeth definitely have stains from cigars and coffee, but they're clean as fuck.
