fires dont happen often here, not ones of this size.

like 4 towns around me are in flames tonight.
50 houses burned in my town.
im praying for everyone, whatever that might do

I'll admit, I'm not real familiar with fires in California, but I think they're common. Maybe not 10,000 acre fires, but life destroying fires nonetheless.

It's something residents of that region of California know they may have to deal with. Just like living on a flood plain, ya know?

Well, the situation is that the wind comes off the ocean pretty hard and blows basically into the wooded area.  Unless it starts near the ocean, like the Oakland hills fire when I was a kid, then you really only have to worry if you live east.  Of course it's not an exact science, but ya, it still means if you have oceanfront property, you're pretty safe from fire. And a significant amount of the population lives within 10 miles of the ocean.

I think someone is trying to create chaos all over the globe...

at least 24,000 acres of land burned
still 50 structures burned

lotsa people trying to get to their houses to save shit still, including the shroomerite with the dog

winds are picking up again, this is insane.
you know how many people me and my friends have witnessed throwing their cigarettes out the window into dry grass in the past few weeks?
even while the fire was going on we saw a guy throw his lit cigarette out of his car into some bushes while in the process of evacuating.

fuckin idiots.

They had me on a road for over an hour going 5 miles an hour just to have us turned around. I wasn't allowed to go home, being new in this town I was lucky to stay at a co-workers house. I had to sneak into town today because they wouldn't let me in even though the top part of town isn't evacuated but you can't get in anywhere. I had to take a back road through the mountains for an hour on a crazy ass dirt road but I made it safely home! I couldn't believe I made it, I was in the middle of freaking nowhere. Poor dog was home alone for 40 hours with no water. She's a champ:awesome: Looks like things will be under control soon enough.. I hope, had me worried for a good while.

Here are some pics, they have this fire 16% contained  and its about 5 or so miles west of me, I hope this shit doesn't come my way..
