also working on figuring out a new Pokémon team
want to do something based around the magic mushroom Pokémon
but it's a slow one -- so thinking of mixing it with the fairy witch Pokémon and making a trick team that inverts speed stats
it will be strange breeding to specifically have bad (speed) stats tho

Sup Shroomery. Im currently in Hawaii. My Dad bought me a ticket. Its been such a trip so far. Its so weird returning to your home after 8 years of time. Its like reliving memories at a different age. Its one of the most interesting experiences Ive ever experienced. And this Oregon weed i brought is helping me to understand that.

Tomorrow is Christmas. Going to the beach and then watching s movie with my best friend from Hawaii whos also on the island. Then a Pot Luck at my Dads house. Will be pretty cool Hawaiian day.

Sounds like a fantastic way to celebrate the X-Mas!!! I want to get some tickets for my wife to go to Hawaii sometime. I would love to see some hot lava and the jungle area's. I might be contacting you for some travel suggestions coming up in the next year or two.

Burke, I'm not a fan of much seafood, but that actually sounds good and it's good to switch things up every once in a while.

feeling frustrated/kind of angry
Mom had me babysit their cats a little while back while my own cat was sick
apparently both of theirs caught the same bug
and while the fat one has survived not eating or drinking for a week, the younger one is wasting away
and they are talking about how to put him down while the vet's is closed since he won't make it to morning

wish someone had communicated to me/they asked me to take care of the cats again while they were sick
or that they had at least taken it to the vet while the opportunity for IV feeding was there

so kind of feel like it is my fault due to not keeping the cats better separated while in my care
but also feel like it could have given him a chance if a half a week to a week or so ago they had asked me to watch him and feed him with an eyedropper and syringe

:sad:
he was a total pain in the ass and poorly trained cat that shit on the floor
but losing will/ability to provide oneself sustenance seems like a long and awful way to go

One summer I worked with a bunch of seasonal immigrant Jamaicans.  They were tough to understand at first, but over time it got much easier.  I started hanging out with three of them outside of work, it was a lot of fun.  I took them shoe shopping once and they were all looking at women’s shoes because, despite them being tall dudes, they all had little feet.  They’d have me take a beer out of the cooler at the start of their shift because they’d drink it at the end, and they liked their Heineken warm. 

Had a weird conversation with one once.  I asked him what the most surprising thing about living in America was, and he told me that he was shocked to learn that we culturally frown on beating our wives here.  I didn’t even think I’d heard him right, asked him to repeat himself.  Turns out, many men in Jamaica beat their wives, as this guy told me “when he needs to”.  And there isn’t the same stigma attached to it that we have here.  It was nuts, he was a real kind, sweet guy, but pretty okay with spousal abuse. 

I kept in touch with them for a while, would periodically get these patchy phone calls from Jamaica where we’d shoot the shit.  That was a long time ago, I hope they, and their wives, are doing well.

Yeah they like shoes and they aren't from Jamaica

I always end up filling up my car with those guys , they give me a bunch of gas money without me asking and everything is cool

Filled up my car with a bunch of guys from Guatemala I played them Calabrese music , they loved it

Got a CD from a party that I went to over there , they thought I was from Brazil for a long time

I guess it's similar

Hi guys. I'm eating chocolate cake and playing Captain Toad.It's a kids video game I got for Xmas and is actually pretty fun.

I like Guatemalans people. The ones that I have interacted with seem pretty nice. Even the Guatemalans gang members seem kind of nice. Jamaicans can be hit or miss. I always think of them as being chilled out stoners so it's surprising to hear they beat their wives. I can kind of see how they might be into that now that I think about it.
