Hey people...anyone up?  How's everyone feeling?

I just got off work.  I'm kinda pissed off.  My grandfather died on saturday.  But the family wanted to wait to have the "celebration of life" for today(the 6th was his birthday).  I just started this job and so I don't want to compromise things. 

Rules are, according to the law, that I am allowed 3 days off(with pay) if wanted/needed.  But since I'm new and I didn't want to pursue that, I let the foreman know on monday that for thursday(today) I would be a couple hours late.  The funeral was for 4 and I usually start at 5.  I did the whole funeral thing and got to work at 6:15.

Now..here's where the pissed off part comes in(sorry bout the rant).  I got put on a new job today...one that I've done many many times before.  There is two other new guys that are doing the same job(they've been doing it for a few days now).  Sorry to say, but I totally showed them up.  I was working more faster, efficient and all around more productive.  It was quite easy becaue I've done it lots with my past jobs.  Anyways, we get evaluated everyday and we have to sign this evaluation paper.  He comes up to me and says, "well, everything looks the same as yesterday...which is ONLY satisfactory...but I did notice one thing...you need to keep up with the flow".  WTF?  I was the one carrying the weight of two new guys all by myself and STILL not falling behind.  And besides that point, he checks off "needs more improvement" under the category of "accepts responsibility".  He tells me he specifically checked that off because I wasn't keeping up with the flow.  If that's the case, which is total horseshit, what the fuck does that have to do with "accepts responsiblity" when there is a section labeled specifically, "job agility".

Ughh more ranting...but I'm pissed.  I mean, for once they stick me on something I know(unlike the last few days)...and I decide to go hard and show what I can do.  I totally work at the same pace if not faster and with all around good qaulity, then the one guy who's been there like 5 years...yet, I'm not accepting responsibility??!!!!!

I guess the two other new guys got the same exact evaluation.  It really seems to me this foreman doesn't know his ass from his elbow.  Apparantly a new foreman.  And I mean...cut me some fucking slack...I just got back from my grandfathers fucking funeral...when I could of taken 3 days off.  Don't accept responsibility?!  What I can accept is the fact that I'd like to take a big dump on his face  :evil:
