Okay guys its been a long night and i have  been working hard on the project. Cooked up a lot of dishes, melted some in the pc.
Heres how that looks:





The agar in half of the dishes are properly sterilized. There are some pf tek jars and some MS  to grain i know you love it

Should i put this in a plastic bag instead?

I berieve in youuuuuu, you can do it! Just take your time and read read read. Take notes or screenshots of whichever tek you follow so you can read it as youre doing it as well. Youll get this chit down

update: Spent 70$ roughly on:

2 kilos of coir
hygrometer
wireless barbecue thermometer

Wondering if I should pick up some horse shit for future use?

If you're using bags, then you're growing in bulk. Bulk grows mean bulk losses if you don't have your sterile procedure down cold. Given your lack of success so far, don't go bulk yet. Stay small till you know what you're doing.

Hygrometer was a waste of money. RH is always much higher at sub surface, so any reading you get from a hygrometer is useless.

Wireless thermometers are more expensive than non-wireless, so also a waste of money. A regular old thermometer will do, try to keep room temps 70-80F.

Horse shit: also, not till you know what you're doing.

The thing is that in my youth, I only finished a single pf tek which turned out 50% contam and I ate most if not all of the fruits as they came and got like 8-12 grams in total from 4 jars, no 2nd flush, it was pretty sad when I look back at it, but hey, at one point I had a cake growing out of a 1,5 L fanta bottle, too bad all the pics are gone :/

I'm a wanderer as well. To the most extreme extent in almost every aspect of life. Wander in wonder has been my motto all over the globe. BUT........ when i'm teaching someone guitar or how to grow mushrooms My motto changes slightly. "If you don't know how to walk, perhaps watch those around you who have mastered it and try as best you can to imitate their moves and technique. Once you yourself learn to walk, feel free wandering about but Save the extreme wandering until you've learned to run. For every wanderer inevitably wanders toward something they end up needing to run away from"

My advice.
Get some agar going according to a trusted recipe and tek. If you don't know one..... ASK the search function or us.

Get or make an inoculation loop and read about using it, germinating spores on agar and making sterile transfers.

Either read until you are sure that you know how and why you are to make your next move or ask us here BEFORE making your next move.

Bbq thermometer shows 24c in the relevant areas for the jars and the cased surgical remains. Moved the agar away from the lamp as it was showing +27c
Will be stealing the poop from the horse tomorrow
