Agar Transfers of clones

I just cloned a monster PE I got to grow on 3 different plates. I'm seeing good growth on all of them, but I'm wondering if transfers are really needed for clones, as long as theres no contams.

Sorry, no pics but I'll get them up here if people really need them...

Some people will still transfer clones. 

I haven't ever done that though, whenever I clone, the mycelium always looks great.  Ideal even.

You could do both, you could do a leading edge transfer then later take from the same plate for grain inoculations.

I always do a few transfers just to be safe.

The myc is looking good and even but I'll probably do a few transfers cause I've got some already made plates. Thanks for the tips yall!

I'll throw the first plate to grain if it looks perfect. It takes some practice before you can tell what a clean plate looks like though. If it looks great and i decide to go to grain with it, I'll be sure to leave the tissue in the old plate. You could transfer it in but i just don't like the idea. I take from the best areas of the outer growth and put them to a new plate and to a master jar. I did this exact thing with a bunch of clones yesterday.
