Re: Boogs bags [Re: micelio]

I have ran bags in the PC but I only get 6 per presto.. I have 4 so I could do I suppose say 90 in a day but it would be alot of work I dont pasteurize my coir only when I did poo and the coir probably gets more then pasteurized in this steamer ..

Also yes try to cut the bags as close to the surface as possible or it gets more humidity as well .. I played with cutting the bags taller and it was harder to dial in right .. but if you played with it I suppose it would work well

Noice write up, have you had any experience with just letting them fruit in the bag?
A Facebook group member just loads the .5 bags and clips them above the patch.
Says it allows enough FAE, I kinda like the idea of casing them and popping some holes in the bag

Here was a limited success I had with MS

Bag cut for ease prior to harvest

I had a b+ ms bag get yellowish before it was ready and I snipped small holes in the creases of the bag maybe 20 small holes and I got about 10 grams dry and a few nice clones the thing with that is space .. on one of my shelves i can fit 15 to 18 tubs depending on how how i wanna stack them and can get 6 bags in each tub thats 90 bags per shelf and I have 4 shelves .

Running them like you are saying i would maybe get 20 per shelf?

But either way i love the bags and that one you got there is a beauty nice grow

I say we rename it "The Booger Bag"!

Good work sir. Also, clever move jamming them in the tub pre colonization as to form them properly and get more in a tub. That's a great idea. I never thought of that back when i ran bags

Sweet bags, man! I just ran a few using packing tape to seal them, but dig what you did with the zip-ties .

Thanks fellas you guys all rock ...

Yeah verum when I let them colonize first I could only fit 4 in a 66qt tub def was wasting space ..

This also creates more humidity in the tubs and allows less tape/poly but obviously still need to learn the dial of your environment.. it's nice pulling as man off so little spawn but in the same sense I use 10 times as much spawn then monos ..

Yeah man zip ties are so much easier then a dealer I havent used tape but I can see it being handy for sure

Definitely alot of work but all of it is when you eat a lb a day in medicine :sexeh: Haha jk

I just love how you can easily dispose of then in a black trash bag into a dumpster easy peasy.  Every month with monos I'd have to get a bobcat to move the mountain of mono waste Haha

As you’re sterilizing bags you could sup the coir with bran and use little spawn.

Yeah I been thinking on spreading jars out farther but it's pretty easy to dump and run each jar . What would you recommend bran to coir if I was to go 3 bags per jar ?

Just think of the bran as the remaining spawn....so throw a 1/3 quart in each bag.  Play around with it and see what works.

Fosho!  And to correct my above ratio, you’d use 2/3 bran per bag if you were typically spawning a whole quart...sorry for that, had a brain fart.

Yeah man, these are badass. I have some older bags I don't trust for grain that I'll try with this, for sure.
