Shelf system

I am thinking of starting a new system for my casings. I purchased a 4 level self standing shelf, which I intend to put my casings in. I plan on covering the entire thing with plastic sheeting and sealing it off. To keep humidity and air exchange up, I will have a cool mist humidifer blowing in from the bottom. Does anyone have any suggestions for this setup?

If your shelves are solid, as in sheet metal, you'll need to drill lots of holes to ensure even air exchange through all levels. If you've got wire shelves you're all set.

Yep..they're plastic and each shelf is just a strip with strips coming off of it.....free flowing no closed spaces.

sounds like what i just rigged up. i have a 4 shelf system, its metal but i put shelving paper on the bottom and top of the shelves and used a pull-down window shade on the back; i duct taped it there and i plan on getting clear plastic wrap for the front of it. im even thinking about getting pieces of clear lexan and some weatherstripping to make 4 seperate doors or something. i dont plan on getting a humidifier, just using a tray on each level with perlite [trays provided by our local burger king :)] I insulated the back with that blue styrafoam stuff you use on housing and have 2 blankets folded up and covering the top and sides to keep it all warm so i dont think that will be too much of a problem. its about 70 in my closet anyways but i figure that will keep most of the heat in. air exchange might be my next issue, but i suspect if i make seperate doors that when i open the door the CO2 will get out.
-------------------- Holy shit people; COMMON SENSE! we were all born with it where did it go? maybe theres a tek out there to explain how to use it! BUCKETS BRIGADE left hand man!!!

Just my opionion cuz i have never built one but wouldnt it be a better idea to have the coolmist blowing in near the top, and maybe a smal vent near the bottom to better aid removal of C02 since it is heavier and will sinkto the bottom. I know ther are some good ppost on how to make some very elaborate setups. but im too lazy to find um.
