Fo shizzle. What do you suppose your problem is though? Why can't you  grow tubs without contams? Don't get me wrong man, I've lost plenty of tubs and even went the bag route for a long time but tubs are so much better iffin you can pull them off... right?

I think just cause I had such a large amount of tubs running at once and I was doing alot of poo back then .. I believe the hpoo was one of the main factors cause my spawn all looked descent .. and I think my cultures were getting old ..

But you see how many bags I'm running in each tub im averaging more then a ounce per bag so we are looking at at least a half lb per tub .. with the tubs I was getting 4 to 7 on regular cubes and maybe 5 to 9 with envy cultures .. these bags will give me 2+ zips with some cultures..

I am starting to run some regular tubs to test some envys and other things that I think have the potential of doing better in a mono

The big thing that kept me was my old grain issue every bag I made stalled from the g2g I mean it literally looked like a bag of grain from the day i transferred

Now that i solved that issue i think i will run 30 bags and 30 tubs that will be about 180 bags on top of what I pull from the monos

Any opinion on my we don't see more people just using the bag as the FC?
That was the appeal to me. Like Maness on the FB group does.

Running bags out in the open takes up a ton of space .. I can fit 500 bags and still walk around my 12x16 room with a flowhood and shelves for my agar and jars

okay okay that makes sense, and I feel like I have asked this before so sorry if you're repeating yourself. I didn't understand the space thing until that example tho

I have these 2 shelves and I can get like 2 shoeboxes a shelf/3 on top, or 1 32qt mono or like 5 bags per shelf

Yeah for you I would say it was better to run bags out side of tubs that's a pretty small space .. or take those shelves out and you could stack 6 tubs high next to each other so 12 .. the new 66qt tubs are taller and shorter I can only get 5 in them the older ones were longer i can get 6 but 5 x 12 is 60 bags

Got pointed here by mushboy sorry to bump an old thread but this is cool.

Question though  I'm confused about the need to case. Is the casing here just to keep good surface conditions so the bags don't attempt to sidepin? Can this be done without casing if the climate is kept right?

Thanks for your time and sorry to bump an older thread.

Bumpity :creepylurker:

To answer your question the casing is always a good thing to use everyone knocking casing has too big of an ego haha .. I fruit at spawn and always got better results with a light jiffy mix casing I had a post I made but I got tripped out and deleted the pics so it’s not helpful now (my bad )

Or it’s cause my support account is inactive I’m not sure I know I’d get tripped out and delete pics though haha anyway yeah you can keep a good surface and still have no issues but all those bags are cased and you see the results .. why try to be Rambo just to say you could ?

Jiffy has always been great to me and there may be pics of uncased bags in the same tub with cased and it’s still a big difference in yield .. I know I was pulling anywhere from 6 ounces up to 14+ ounces per tubs depending on the size 6 bag tubs would get no less then an ounce each and 9 bag tubs sometimes 1.5 -2 ounces per

That bucket pic was 3200 grams in a 6 bag tub almost 3/4 lb dry and my penis tubs definitely would pull way over a lb in my 9 bag
