One ID, and one test.
    #26017450 -

This is the mushroom I wish to get ID’d.  My guess is it’s a meadow mushroom.  It does not have a nasty smell.

The next mushrooms are the test.

Simple question.

What spore print will this be? Dark brown?  Or black?

Opinions welcome.
I already know the answer.

Oh lol now I feel dumb. Well shit...we should resurrect that thread and use the 3d images from that one dudes software. I think it will help alot of us amateurs learn to identify common mushrooms that may be encountered in the field.

Where are you based? I found some pretty similar looking mushrooms in Dunedin, New Zealand, that Alan reckons is likely an undescribed species not found in NA.

That's also why I thought the prints would be black

grass pans are a universal species found on every continent.  Normally I would consider these cintinculus, but there might be a paradigm shift in the science of that statement.  The reason they’re so small is because their starved.

Good job.  The other guy said foes.

I’ve been doing this for 11 years, I still run across some that are confusing but for the most part I still separate the foes from the mushrooms formerly known as cinctinculus accurately.

Do you have pictures of the mushrooms you’re talking about?  I’d like to see them.

I’m guessing the Agaricus is a meadow mushroom.

That would definitely be the mushroom formerly known as cinctinculus.

My old flatmate reckons a still older flatmate identified and picked a bunch of mushrooms from our lawn and that when the two of them ate them, they had an effect. So hopefully that's the mushroom they found and it's active  got some spores on agar atm, so here's hoping :v
