Cap:
50-100mm, brown, conical, concave

Spore print color:
White

Bruising:
Didn't see any

Habitat:
Rotting wood fragments

Gills:
Orange

Stem:
~25mm, ~3mm, orange, hollow

Cap:
~15mm, orange, conical, convex

Spore print color:
Orange

Bruising:
Didn't see any

Pallid to brown

Violet

Third species. The bif black one is Amanita vegenati (however it's spelled) none of those look active.

As above ^ nothing active :frown:

Its still a bit too dry down here in Dunedin mate. All my spots from last year have yet to fruit or even had indicator species fruit yet. Days like today don't help us

Hah, looking at my pictures again, this is possibly Amanita in the middle!

I was interested in an ID for species 1 if possible, they look kind of tasty and there's shitloads of them growing around where I was looking, so could help to cut my flat's food budget a little :grin:

Also went for another little walk around a different area and completely accept that it's currently too dry! Lots of good looking places but nothing much out except Amanita muscaria. Although I did find a little patch of what looks like Mycena interrupta. They're so beautiful! I really want to see if I can get them growing in a terrarium so I can stare at them all the time. :heart:

Also, I found this other bizarre looking mushroom. No idea what it is, can't really be bothered taking prints or anything, but it looks really wicked!
