Hi it's me again, need some ID help, glory days.

Hi guys! I was trundling through a field at work as ya do and stumbled across these babies under a shaded creek setting, I nearly fell off my ATV.
Once again they were in cow poo.
The spoor print is a dark purple/brown color.
One cap is about 6cm and the other 5cm with skin and a gold center and are pretty flat in shape, the gills turned browny after aging.
The young ones are falic looking with very gold caps.
The stem is about 1.5cm thick with a 2mm blue band where the cap seperated. There was an intence instant blueing when I trimmed the stems off and some blueing around the rim of the cap.
So to hazard a guess on my second atempt would be Psilocybe cubinsis.
But what do I know I can only hope. If they are the good stuff what dosage would one take cos these seem like the king kong of mushrooms, they are big suckers.

Looks like a cube to me but like Psilygirl ive never found cubes. Wait for a definate id but id say ya got em.

Nice finds, never picked them myself but those are without a doubt P. cubensis.

Yeah I so wish I could have let them grow, but I thought it best to nab em for ID purposes, plus I may never be able to return there since I was only supposed to be in there on government time lol.

maybe I havent found cubes in the wild... but I've seen some fresh cubes....... here and there :wink:
