Non Psychoactive mushroom pics (I think) ID Help

Sorry if I'm boring you by posting non-psychoactive shrooms, but I made it pretty clear in the title. The reason I want IDs is just for general interest and for a web site I'm going to build after my exams. If there's any interesting about these mushrooms (eg. poisonous etc.) can you please let me know so I can document it?

I found all these mushrooms on campus at University and would like to know what they are. I thought there was about a 1% chance that one or two of the Little brown ones I photographed may have been psychoactive, I guess if so then someone here will spot it, but I highly doubt it. If anyone can give me IDs for these it would be really cool. I know they aren't psychoactive, but would like to know what they are just out of general interest. Thanx.

LBMs. I especially like the little dark brown one. It's about 2 inches tall. The one with the cracks in the cap is really large, about a 6-7 inch diameter cap. This is the collection that I thought there's a teeny chance that there might be a psychoactive in there...:)

These ones are all red and orange. I think that the last one of the pictures with the shiny upturned cap is a different species. Anyone? The first two pictures are of the same species for sure.The fuzz growing on them is quite interesting for me.

This thing really stook out of the brown, black and green foliage! Is this a Milk-cap or whatever they're called? It sure looks poisonous! It kind of reminds me of an Amanita but with a white cap.

I hope it's O.K. to post pictures of non-psychoactives here is it? IDs on these would be great. Location is lower Hunter region, NSW, Australia. Climate is cool, going in to winter. Who-ever does the grounds at the Uni likes to put heaps of woodchips in the gardens and the place is literally covered in all sorts of interesting mushrooms. There's more photos on the way of some more exotic looking (and possibly psychoactive - but probably not) mushrooms that I will post if people seem to like these. Not boring anyone to death am I? :smile:

Also is can someone give me a good site that I can learn about mycology - not nessicarily psychoactive mushrooms. I don't want to have to ask you guys what it is everytime I find a new LBM out of the millions around...:D

that last one looks like a destroying angel, very poisonous indead. part of the amanita family.

Actually, all mushrooms and all things for that matter are psychedelic, but not necessarilly psychedelic, only surfing is truely psychedelic, because of the irridescence of the waves at night, you can't reallty tell the psychedelic content of roller coasters, I think they are psychoactice, and some mushrooms are translucent.

Howdy Wombat,
Very nice pics.
If possible,try to take some sporeprints. That will help with identifying the mushrooms you find.Use paper that's half black and half white, that way if the spores are white or a light color you'll be able to see 'em .Also list the habitat the mushies are growing on.

Yeah, I think so. Don't know. Maybe it's mcyelium (spelling?).
