This "bluing" rubbed off onto my hand, and was real darkbluish / black.

You have to use [image] and [/image] instead of using HTML tags OJ. I sent you a PM that said this very thing, so go ahead and disregard that :) Peace Grover

Photo #1: The gills look white, so probably a Mycena species. Photo #2: Can't see the gills, so hard to say. Maybe Mycena, or Psathryella, or any of a number of LBM genera. Photo #3: Almost certainly Psathryella gracilis group of species. Black or very dark brown spores would confirm this. Nothing worth consuming here, but good practice for closeup photography.

The tags are changed when you edit your message, this was a bug reported while ago, i believe it was corrected but now it's back. Everytime you edit a post with images you have to change all <imgsrc> to [image . I like the last pic, that's what i call "bunch'o'them". Peace, MAIA

They look like worthless mycenas and really, the odds of any mushroom picked at random being a magic mushroom, are pretty high indeed!

OJ, pic #3 looks like Naematoloma dispersum. #1 and #2 might be too. i know the general area you are in and i can tell you without any doubt that they are the most common mushroom in the woodchips there, especially this early in the season. hope that helps.

Your top picture shows a blue stem base. These could be P. Pelliculosa. a weakly active mushroom. Take a spore print.

The first two pics do appear to be a type of psilocybe, and if that is bluing I see at the base in the first pic, they are indeed active. But its hard to tell.
