Living life to the fullest: Community Suggestions * 4
    #25966742 -

How do you live life to the fullest? What activities do you enjoy most in life? Lets make a list we can be proud of and enrich eachothers lives. GOD I feel good right now.

One of the best decisions I ever made was getting a bicycle last year, best hobby ever, nature walks 2.0. Went on a long idyllic ride along the coast yesterday, now today I simply went to the local river and walked/swam along the shore for a long ways, exploring parts of the river seldom visited by humans and that was sooo fucking fun. I hadn't really enjoyed swimming for years but holy christ its a good time.

Also kayaking if you've never been, there's something very special about exploring bodies of water on a small boat alone. I've even kayaked in tiny ponds, people laugh at me when I tell them that but you see a whole different set of life in ponds compared to lakes or rivers. I want to kayak down the local river now buts its like, what do I do once I'm miles downriver? Call someone to pick me up?

I'd also never been a dancer but its just been exploding into my life lately, I lovvve dancing now, especially with poi. I'm starting to love all the art forms more than I used to. Poetry, opera, ballet, gonna start making my own music again once I get some software.

And lucid dreaming of course, one of the greatest pleasures in life. The other night was fucking bananas, I woke up at 5 am to piss and had a little weed to help me back to sleep, and as I'm laying there with my eyes closed I started fucking dreaming while I was still awake! So it was a lucid dream right off the bat, and I had excellent control of my actions and the dreams lasted a reasonably long time. One dream would end, I'd open my eyes for a moment, close them, and then soon enough another dream would start, all while I was still awake. I had like a dozen fucking lucid dreams one after another all while awake. Had the best lucid dream sex of my life with actual penetration, I was beating the shit out of the women because hey its a dream so there's no lasting injuries. And then one of them was giving me head at one point and she did something thats not physically possible, produced a long steady stream of liquid out of her mouth all over my cock, felt awesome, kudos to her. Then to top it all off there was a short dream with an old woman dressed all in red. I resolved to take this dream seriously and cool it on the sex for a bit; so I look at her red clothing and say "red, the color of anger and passion, why are you wearing red?" And she responds by breaking out into tears and saying "I'm just so tired of being angry at your ex." And the dream ended. I was elated, I have attempted to ask dream characters what they symbolized before but they never answered me properly like that before. Amazing breakthrough in my lucid dreaming.

I might consider getting a pilots license but I'm a wee bit too poor for such things.

Yes! hangliding has definitely been on my mind lately but I never hear about people doing it locally. I'll have to try that and skydiving sometime in the next couple years. Can't even imagine being that high up and just gliding, I've only been in a plane a couple times.

Surfing isn't in the cards in my location but maybe I'll get to water ski on the lake sometime. We've got a lake cabin in the family but nobody has a motor boat. Surfing never really occured to me though, I'm surfing mentally right now and it sounds funner than I would've thought  ooh maybe scuba diving

I've also been curious about rock climbing. I started climbing trees again lately and god damn do I recommend that. I was at the top of this huuge friggen tree and an eagle goes flying right near me since I was up at the height he happened to be flying at, all happening right at sunset, it was incredible.

Surfing is, Life, flow, tripping, sex, peace, danger, connection, and loss... all at once.

Finding something that forces you to succumb to nature in the truest sense is a suggestion I would have for all.

Ah yes of course, how could I forget a good hard trip and a concert, though I can't personally combine the two.

jet ski would be so awesome, never done that or ridden a motorcycle.

Highly recommend it. Takes mechanical skills and money to get up and running, especially if you go the rebuild/fixer-up route.

Get a big board after talking to someone who knows/surfs.
Don't expect to get it straight away.
Don't give up.
Its worth it.

To do it succesfully can take years...with most you see, having done it all their lives.

Nature , bicycling , mushrooms , animals , gardening

I enjoy going around with a positive chilled out  attitude

With a cup half full kind of mindset

It has been rubbing off onto the people I am around , they like it , I got to know them and they got to know me

as for the threads topic:

do what makes you happy, even if it makes others angry or judge you. They are just mad they're not following their bliss.

Find someone or something to fully love. Love really makes this trip called life beautiful and wholesome.

Fail. Fail at whatever you're doing cos that's where you learn the biggest lessons.

enjoy the small things.

Help others in need

Smile, smile, smile!

Activities for my happyness are: walking, biking, tennis, people watching, making love, tripping, smoking marijuana, going to museums and looking at art, drawing, breathing, existing.

I've noticed lately that all the stuff I used to judge I actually enjoy doing now so I follow that.

Funny you say that, I've been noticing the same thing in myself.

On an unrelated note, any of you folks ever been to sex parties/sex clubs? I'm wanting to live my sex life to the fullest as well. There's a local club that has sex parties a couple times a month and I've been really wanting to try it out but haven't worked up the courage yet. Nooby night is this friday and I'm going to try to go but something tells me I'll talk myself out of it

Somebody also mentioned gardening, oughtta get my flower bed up and running again, take another stab at planting nut trees, some fruit. Plants are a good time. I always get too lazy with vegetable gardening and ruin my harvests through neglect but me and the neighbors have been talking about doing a garden together because they have the same problem. Logic being that at least one of the three of us will tend to it at any given time, with combined efforts maybe we'll get a good harvest.

Then I'm so tempted to get ducks and geese but I think I'd just get sick of them shitting everywhere and going where I don't want them.

Well I went to nooby orientation night, turned out to be very chill, I don't think anybody even had sex, apparently that doesn't happen on nooby night. Was just a bunch of people hanging out and talking while there were various people giving demonstrations with rope, animal roleplay, fire massage, impact, etc. Unfortunately every demonstration took place at the same time so I only got to see fire massage but man was that awesome. I'd never even heard of such a thing before, all the guy had was some cotton balls on sticks that he'd dip in isopropyl alcohol and then apply it to the body in lines/patterns and then light it on fire before quickly smothering the flame with his hand. Surprisingly it didn't hurt or get too hot, just felt really nice. Then he'd light an oven glove on fire and use that to massage you. Also would spray iso into a flame to make little fireballs in the air, so you'd feel the heat of it but then the water in the iso would rain down on you so you get hot/cool all in one. Freakin awesome, had never even heard of fire being used in kinky ways. Can only imagine doing that on uppers.

I even got naked in front of strangers so that he could give me a fire massage, was a really nice/knowledgable guy and gave tons of safety tips I never would have thought of. Very pleased with my experience. Now I want to light my ladyfriend on fire

Now tonight is more of a true sex party as I understand, we'll see if I work up the courage to go to that.

Then last night I had a dream that I did something wrong at the club and everybody was being super mean to me to the point that I was in tears, but the tears only made them more angry to the point that they became violent/creepy with me. Dunno wtf that was about.

Life is good.
