Grafting peyote

Anyone here grafted peyote to sand Pedro to get them to grow faster? And if so exactly how did you do it

Please check out the link at the top of Ethnobotanical garden with useful links, in the list you will find there are many teks etc about grafting cacti.

Plenty of people here graft cacti. Grafting lophs and trichs may be most popular and the most popular rootstock used for seedlings is Pereskiopsis (spathulata).

For bigger lophs indeed you would want something like a columnar cactus and San Pedro would do.

Be sure to check out the main Loph and Trich threads, they are quite active and have varied content. Plenty to read back.
