beautiful video. I'm glad i started this thread. I dream of it one day being absolutely loaded with the cream of the crop, pics and vids that only true myco nerds can be in awe of. I'm in no way hoping to replace the cult pic of the day thread, as i've seen canopy after canopy after canopy.... This is just for the super sexy, funny, odd and artistic moments in the mycologist life. I really want to get my nice camera out and start taking some stellar shots of oddball shit.

The other day, after prepping about twenty tubs i had a little bin full of platic shavings, sterilite tote id stickers and the leftovers from the whole saw. That's when i dreamt up the thread. I didn't get a pic of it but i could've made it really nice and it would've truly been something only we'd understand.

i don't see myself updating this all too often. I'd really like to keep it filled with only great shots. Anything from really nicely taken and edited myco related pictures to strange shit that only we'd find amusing, beautiful, odd , particularly funny or just straight up fucked.

even something like this. Only we know why anybody would be willing to lug those suckers across town on a bike.

Nothing required that huge stack of plates. I was going through a lot of plates at the time (my penis envy isolation project) but i just wanted a good picture to show what it really takes to truly isolate genetics. So i saved the plates fora while and then took that picture.

I did this, but the wrap seems to catch on the jagged edges I made. Think I'll try with a snap off knife next time.
