Actually the B+ have been in stock for a while. Your probably thinking of the other ecuadors, we were out of those, but they will be back in stock in a few days.
Glad you like the pics... camera tricks.. that cracks me up :)
Here is a couple more monsters. These are PESA's and our Gulf Coast in gallon sized ziplock bags.
Once again grown on DB compost.
I'll post some picture of the flushes they came from tomorrow :)

Potency of the large ones? Bioassay? You bet. Let me tell you how I bioassay them. First I take my sharp talons and wrap them around those thick stems and get a good grip on them. Then I spread my wings and take off for my destination where I know I'll be surrounded by other beautiful hawks and a nice location to soar and just peacefully float. Together we bless the sacred mushrooms and thank our Creator for such a wonderful gift before eating them.
After group prayer, then we all tilt our heads back and open our beaks and start chomping. Then we start mingling with the other birds and animals and feel their energy. Before you know it, a beautiful sensation is washing over our feathers and we spread our wings and fly. Fly high... letting the spirit of God within consume us. Spreading our vibe and energy to all those who deserve it. And the ones who dont, we do our best to touch their spirit with the love we know and hope they get it.
We continue to soar,, flying higher in the clouds... feeling, learning, sharing, observing all those around us and our own spirit within. Absorbing the vibe of these mushrooms is meaningful task. If they give us a happy beak, a clean energetic flight with some nice spirit forms in the clouds to marvel at, and they help us fly higher to our Creator, and bring us more happy hawks to fly with, (good hawks attract more good hawks), our feathers are clean and are wings are strong, and we feel great and revived on life the next day, then we know these mushrooms are for us and worth sharing with others.
If our stomachs are to upset, or our wings feel week and cramped, is our vibe clouded and do dark spirits try and persuade us to hook up with the wrong buzzards. The next day do we feel like retreating to the nest and forget the surrounding world. Did we learn nothing of importance for our personal advancement and our role in life? If so, then these mushrooms are not for us and we prefer not to share them.
Perhaps other animals can use them for what ever reasons and they have some other purpose.
Now of course we have to consider other factors. Such as, did any of us hawks stop at the poisonous pond and drink to much alcohol? Or did any of the hawks peck at any chemicals that night? Was there already bad vibes from misfortunes in life surrounding that hawk to begin with before she took flight? These of course are important factors in your mood and feelings and especially your body the next day. Taking all factors into consideration, we assess weather this strain and these particular mushrooms, small, large or huge, will be shared any further.
Scientific bioassay? No, way to expensive for us, were not financially rich. But we do have a very nice Hawk Vibe bioassay that never lets us down :)

damn, nice shroomies as usual. i just ordered a db kit, sometime last week, and i have a few questions for its arrival...
i have two syringes that i made of pan trop spore prints you gave me. i made these in a glove box, and they are very clean syringes. the one is 10 cc's, and the other is about 7 because some leaked out into the bag unfortunatly :(.
i was wondering if this would be enough spore water to fill two bags with. i figure i can do 8 and 1/2 cc's per bag. would this be enough spore water to innoculate the rye berries for the ten gallon kit?
crossin my fingers with this species, but i think that it should work out pretty good on the kits because its such a dung loving species. could these kits work for any dung loving species (mexicana, pan cyan, tampenensis etc.)?
thanks for the time, and once again nice shrooms ;)

Heya Whereabouts.
We changed THE DB KIT instructions. We only want ppl to use 5cc's of spore water per bag. Some ppl were getting wet spot bacteria with 10cc's.
Here is the thread.
THE DB TEK revision
As for growing pans in the kit. As the given instructions are for cubensis. I'll need to update it for pans.
THE DB KIT is made for 4" of substrate. That is to deep for pans. They prefer a more shallow substrate depth of 2" at the most. Also they prefer a thin layer of 50/50+ casing mix over it. Be sure and adjust this.
Perhaps use all that extra substrate for your other growing chambers. In fact, I would personally use a 1" thick layer and make 4 casings with the DB KIT for pans.

Another nice harvest pic. No milk dunking, just straight DB compost here ....he he he ...
These are from one flush from a 10lb kit of DB compost of a real nice Gulf Coast strain we decided to continue working with. I'll post a whole series of pictures from these tomorrow in a different thread.
One flush and there is enough mushrooms here to feed all the ducks down at the pond :)

Those weighed in at 2 1/4 oz dry. Also notice we clean 95% of the soil, compost etc off the stems before we weigh them so they get a true mushroom weight.
Thanks Gadget.... I like your image by your name... the time lapse is to cool.
I remember seeing that on a website somewhere... where did you find that ?
Here is another one.. these are B+ from one flush on 10lbs db compost in kit.
these weighed in at 472G's wet.

hey ryche hows everything been goin. by the looks of all these pics seems that you have been really blessed lately. its good to see ;)
thanks for the advice on the pans. can i still use the same grow chamber that comes with the kit, and will that still eliminate fanning, and misting. dont really mind doing all that, but wouldnt do it if i dont have to if you know what i mean ;). oh, one more thing, when cased, should the pan trops have a layer of moist verm on the bottom?
thanks again

Whereabouts.. it should still work in the container fine, just reduce the depth of substrate. -Clyde- did an experiment lately with pans. Doing all things equal as with the cubs in these kits, 4 weeks later, great colonization, but no fruits. Even with adjusting the temps. It is definatly to deep of a substrate layer for pans, because we've both seen the pans fruit on this compost very easily in the past. So he is going to dig out several inches of the colonized compost instead of starting over and see if they will fruit now.
In the past when I grew pan trops on the DB compost, I just mixed about 2 softball sizes of the compost with 1 pint of colonized birdseed, cased with 50/50+ mix immediatly, 2 weeks later they fruited with no problem. Pans colonize this compost very fast,, but they do prefer a shallow substrate layer.
Love the time lapse Gadget.... very creative ;)
Ok.. let me reach into my magic box for some more harvest pics.
These are B+ again... not so pretty... a little over mature, but still good enough for my stomach :o
these came from a 2nd flush on 10lbs of DB compost.

Theres maybe a 1 in 100 chance that you might get a shroom that big from regular PF cased tek. PF cakes that are cased are know for small to medium sized shrooms.

Yes, straw has the ability to give some nice flushes. It also contaminates very easily in our experience.
We have also seen the results of this compost made when the ingrediants that came from a dairy using straw for the cow bedding instead of wood shavings.
Not only does the texture completly change, so does the nutritional make up of the compost among a few other things. We also noticed the compost with the straw in it contaminated easier then the compost with the wood shavings in it. Our crops from the straw based compost were not near as astounding as with the current DB compost.
I personally do not recommend straw by itself. Myself and -Clyde- never had much success with it to brag about. I know some people out there use it well, but from what I have seen most do not. And come to think of it, i've never seen any pics of exceptional flushes from straw, at least not any monster sized mushrooms.
On another note, DB, -Clyde- and I decided to share the recipe of the DB compost sometime hear in the near future, but only if all the negative and childish attacks on T.H.E. stop. Which lately they have.
Then everyone can see just how much work goes into making compost and what makes this compost so good. People can have the option to make it themselves if they want and put in all the time, work and money.

Thats cool. Somehow i was thinking people in general in this community wanted as many souls as possible to get into this cultivation and now I see this inching closer all the time. Thanks to all the researchers hanging around here and sharing what they are able ,things are looking up.

Another mound of mushrooms harvest pic :)
These were B+ from 1 flush on 15lb of DB compost. Wet weight on these were 1604 grams with all compost cleaned off the bottoms.
Wait until you see the flush these came from.... enough to relax a small army for the night :)

I'm not spamming anything. I'm merely posting cultivation pictures that someone grew.

cultivation pictures that someone grew....I thought we went over this...I dug a bit, yes I did reply to this tripe allready...here it is....

begin dystopia;
In reply to:
The difference between a Vendor posting pictures of the mushrooms they grow and the novice posting pictures is VAST.
A novice takes on the cultivation as a journey, the end result being the sampling of their goods and the joy of growing them. Even an experienced grower still enjoys growing out strains or experimenting with new methods. They take pictures to share the joy of their new hobby or even the new strain they are growing, they share information helpful to someone growing in similar conditions. This could be simplified as Cultivation of Mushrooms for fun to share with the 'community'.
A vendor grows as a method of production. That product being the spores, yes the fruitbodies are used in various ways by each vendor but the primary goal is the production of more product, Spores. Any vendor with a digital camera and a minimal ammount of web-savvy will always have pictures of their production method that they can deluge the community with. And a simple way of saying this would be Cultivation Mushrooms to make profit from the 'community'.
Cultivation for Fun vs Cultivation for Profit
or mabye even...
Hobby Growing vs Commercial Production
I have no problem with a vendor breaking down detailed methodology of their system, pictures of each thing they do as they go about Mushroom Cultivation but once that method has been described and nothing new is contributed outside of "hey look at what just rolled off my mushroom assembly line" then they no longer belong in the mushroom cultivation forum.
Ryche its not that people "...stop and look in my thread only to post a bunch of negative crap because your (sic) jealous..." Its that not everybody has the ability or is going to construct a 10'L x 6"D x 7'H grow room out of PVC pipe, 6mm plastic, velcro to hold the plastic, large racks for shelves, very large humidifer, a heater for the winter and an in-line duct fan pushing through a hepa micron filter for positive clean air flow. Your 'show' to use a MJ cultivation term is not on a scale that most people here will attempt to duplicate and as a grower you have very little in common with most people here.
Ryche, you are a vendor you are here to make money off the community and ALL of your pictures and ALL of your products would be better suited for a space designated for other vendors or people who want to see your spore print production line in progress.
Enjoying your pictures for what they are and feeling that they are appropriate are two seperate issues. The argument "If you dont want to look at my pictures or threads then DONT!." is specious at best. Why do we even have moderators if thats the case because if you dont like looking at troll posts then dont read them, if you dont like looking at spam smeared all over the place then close your eyes, if you dont like seeing hippie plagarize other peoples 'teks' then ignore him.
SporePimps need their own forum, Sporepimp spam needs to not be intermixed with the cultivation, Problems with Spore Vendors and the shit they sell should also belong in that forum. Thats it.
end dystopia;
}
Again, this belongs in the Vendor Pit with the rest of the...

I didn't spam anything in this thread. I just posted some pictures of harvested mushrooms and your the only one who seems to have a problem with it.
If we offer a new strain and I put out my personal feelings on the strain or any sales notes with it then I will certainly put it in the spore vendor section as I did recently with T.H.E. Gulf Coast.
Do you think just because I am a spore vendor my grower, -Clyde- or I dont get excited like little kids seeing these monstes grow up ? Its part of the fun to see what is the biggest flush possible in the smallest given space with the least amout of work :)
Relax.. enjoy.
