So fast forward... 3 weeks later we were on her sister funeral. At the time of trip we had no information that she was sick. But she was and week later, after trip she was diagnosed with leukemia. 2 weeks later she had trouble breathing, went to hospital and died that evening.

But one thing comes to mind.  Cats.  So we've (my girlfriend and I) talked about parallel universes and seen hypotheses that they simply operate at a different frequency, and explored the idea that tripping (more so dmt ayahuasca) allows a persons brain to operate at a wider frequency band thus potentially allowing you to glimpse into something that is not of our understanding. Some of them are a bit out there but they make compelling points.  This is where we picked up on alternate universes aren't necessarily based on space time, but more so frequency.  I dunno what to make of all of it, but it feels awfully close minded not to explore the ideas.


Well, these fucking cats act REAL weird when we trip.  It's almost like they are tripping too.  I know mdma can make a pet roll, an we avoid petting the cats when rolling but my understanding is it's different with lsd/shrooms.    Either way, we usually don't spend any time playing with the cats.  But they act fucking weird.  Super weird.  One example is this one time we were tripping on LSD and my chick felt like she needed food.  For whatever reason she chose a slice of bread.  One of the cats came into the bedroom and was literally drooling looking at this slice of bread.  Like a fucking dog!  I've never seen a cat drool.  Then she snatched the bread and darted out the bedroom and into another room and sat in the corner eating the bread.  She fucking ate all of it.    There was food and water for her and she hasn't shown any interest in bread before or after that.

One of the first ones that comes to my mind was a buddy of mine and I had both taken 3.5g of mushrooms.  We were probably a solid 3 hours in and decided we wanted to start token some dabs.  We grabbed his little rig and proceeded to hit a few dabs each.  After we finished the session, I put the rig back down next to me.

We were both sitting in those chairs that are almost like a bean bag chair, but with legs... if you google “comfy circle chair with legs” you’ll get the idea of what I’m talking about. 

Well come to find out that I had placed the rig literally right next to the leg part and I went to get up and the rig tipped over and fell underneath the leg of the chair and I sat back down and had sat the leg of the chair directly on the rig.

This is where shits gets extremely weird. 

Whenever I sat back down in the chair, thus placing all of my body weight and the leg of the chair on the rig, a loud cracking/shattering noise let out.  I looked down and saw the rig in 2 pieces and I immediately looked up at my buddy in disbelief and sadness because 1) that was his rig and I knew I would have to get him a new one 2) we did not have another rig so there would be no more dabs smoked throughout our trip.

I sat there for a solid 2 minutes with my face in my palms just in overall disbelief.  I went to get up and move the leg of the chair from off the broken rig and the rig wasn’t even broken... Yes I repeat the rig was.not.broken.

My buddy and I went fucking ballistic.  We heard the rig crack/shatter/break and we BOTH saw the rig in 2 pieces... 

That was single handedly the trippiest thing I have ever experienced and is definitely what you could call an “unexplained phenomenon”

I am looking forward to reading what everyone else has experienced!

for me, things tend to fall off shelves or just fall down. my box fan in particular likes to scare the crap out of me by falling over, even when it's not on and it's across the room. it normally never falls down. one trip my computers graphics card went absolute bonkers on me. i'm talking weird colorful patterns on the screen constantly, and me having to reset it over and over every 20 minutes when it would randomly freak out. do you have any idea how hard it is to try reading troubleshooting online when you're tripping balls?

it never did fix itself until i gave up in disgust, went to bed, and woke up the next day to it working perfectly fine again. Q_Q

things also seem to happen more when tripping. parents who haven't texted me in weeks send one to say hello to make sure everythings fine, artists suddenly post a bunch of new art online, news events seem to happen more, that sort of thing.

That's fucking awesome man! Are you into any spirit animal shamanic type stuff? Could be some connection there, maybe you used to be one :p

Mine are Ladybugs, i always have them show up in my home, even in winter (and i've lived in 30+ places in a couple of countries) and seem to always spot them everywhere.
