Lets Share Prison and Jail Stories * 1

What are your stories? Did you have to beat someone up the 1st day? Did you try to sneak in drugs up your asshole?

I only went to jail 1 time. Got caught with very small amounts of Coke, Shrooms, and Weed. I got the charges reduced to just cannabis possession and  did 5 days hard time. They looked at my asshole but didn't go in looking for drugs. I should have shoved something up there and had a jail party.

I shared a cell with 5 people and one of them was my friend from high school. They taught me to play spades and we did push-ups and watched TV. It wasn't too bad.

One guy faked a seizure so he could ride out his sentence in a hospital instead of a cell.

I got a DWAI in 2011 then caught driving without a license (because of the DWAI) in 2013. 25 days in jail and 12 weeks of weekend jail after that for a total of 50 days.

I barely remember it honestly. I remember reading a lot of books and that was about it.

What is weekend jail? You go in Friday night and leave on Sunday? Can you get loaded before you go in?

That's it exactly. No, they do breathalizers/uas upon entry and every 12 hours I think.

Ten yrs ago I got 3-20 yrs in prison for selling pressed E pills and pot. The x pills had methamphetamine in them aswell so that was the charge that really fucked me.
  Someone I grew up with ended up snitching to the police on myself and a few other friends. We all sold together and had a solid little operation I was bringing in close to 1,000 a week and by the time I got the cop vibe from the dude that was snitching it was too late they already had several buys on myself and 3 others.
  In the end I wound up doing around 18 months in prison and 90 days in bootcamp. Halfway through my prison term I got the offer to volunteer to go to prison bootcamp to cut my sentence in half which was a great surprise cause I expected to do atleast my min before getting paroled.

Got locked in federal holding for 3 months, in 2012, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and assault of police officer.

I was trying to sell some weed and was meeting potential customer, that went snitched on me for little to no reason. Cuz he did smoke weed but it was always dirt so I brought over some dank.

Don’t know why he called the cops because he asked if I’d smoke him up.

Police show up right as I’m about 2 spark a joint with the bastard, tried to walk away; they just try to arrest me, I reacted like I was getting jumped by grown men, pigs didn’t like that they couldn’t take me down or put me in cuffs so they started beating on me with flashlight on the head then I got tazed.

Both I and the officer I was still wrestling with got tazed, he cried like a bitch and I dashed like the flash.

Led the police on a half hour foot chase into woods and had to surrender after dogs and helicopters were called out.

I had ditched the weed but it didn’t take them long to find it with the dogs. Prolly 10 grams.


That was just the arrest the 3 months in federal was dogshit.

Was on a bus full of dirty hippies and long story short we all went to jail. No one would claim the weed stuff so they just arrested all of us. Spent a month in jail before friend's managed to get in touch with my family to bail me out. Played a lot of spades. Listened to a lot of meth stories. Read some books including the Bible. Most exciting thing was playing UNO in the cell (it was against the rules to have UNO in there).

My brother was doing weekends and he would take a bunch of unisom or whatever equivalent and have a little buzz from that for awhile.  I think they breathalyzed him but didn’t do anything later on, I’d have to ask.

Why is it such a popular idea to get high before going to jail?
Why would you want to correlate feeling good with being in jail?
I would go in sober, do my time, then get the fuck out and never go back in

The point is to get obliterated so the first day goes by quicker, getting processed is shit and once you get settled into a block routine you get used to it.

There's weekenders are people that just get put in holding or gen pop (if they stay a couple days longer) before they can see the judge and bond out.

And there's also weekend jail, as in you get (have) to work and go home Mon-Fri evening, and check into Gen Pop until Sunday night.  I met one guy that was doing it and he was getting UA's every day as he couldn't get loaded, but this being CO, you can smoke all the weed you want as long as you have a med card.

Spent  two weeks in. First week was 24 hour lock down and second was in a unit which is pretty much 23 hour lock down. I got busted with L and Mdma in Virginia so spent 2 weeks in county before Virginia came and got me so had to ride 6 hours in shackles. Got there and got released on my own recognizance. Im now on felony probation diversion so if i get in more trouble im facing 2-20 years. Hopefully nothing happens. Fuck jail

Never been to prison. But ive heard stories from fam that its basically badlands in factory form. If i were to ever go, id either get jumped a lot from trying to act hard, or literally get killed cuz i cannot stand ignorance.

What jail cellmate does one remember most?  An actual intellectual?  Interesting conversation?  My best was one that said that he talked to one looking at seven years. And we had weeks.  Put things in perspective.

Have done 3 and a half months is my longest.  Another guy made me laugh for script fraud for a year.  One M came in and started whining.  He said I have done more time on the toilet then you have been here.

Risk and reward.  Learn the system.

Shit that sounds pretty fun.

Ive been to jail once. Got caught with a small hit of acid, freshly-cut fan leaves from a weed plant (before it was legal), and later shrooms.

I spent one night in jail, by myself. It sucked but quick. One of the worst nights of my life. Its a depressing place to be.

I told them I was suicidal so I could ride my time out in solitary. They don't like having to watch all the individual people.
