What jail cellmate does one remember most?

Some older black dude was in gen pop with me.
Still not sure if he was mentally ill, or what the fuck he was thinking.
But at least once a day, this man would run to the corner of the cell and just start jacking off.
He got stomped out a few times for it, but would be back at it the next day all bruised up and shit.
The climax, pun much intended, was the day he did his usual thing but a few CO's were walking down the hall at the the same time
This man just runs fro his corner as they're approaching our cell, hard dick in hand, and just comes all over the CO's looking into the cell. Primarily a very obese female CO.

As fucked up as that is in every aspect of conceivable human decency. It was entertainment.

As far as jails go through the country, and I've only been in 2. 1 with jack off man in a central jail of a large metropolitan city, and one in a town of 8 thousand or so white and natives 50/50.
What I can say is that the difference from a metro jail, to a small town jail in a good area is that metro is like Motel 6. Local detention is like the W.

I was so surprised. I was in there for 5 days. I was supposed to be out in 6 hours but judge couldn't see me that day. Which was a Friday. I finally saw her on the following Tuesday and got PR bonded out. Released at 12:37AM which was fucked up.

Point is. Just about everyone I was in there with. Both in holding and in gen pop were pretty fucking nice. Not much hostility. The CO's would come by all the time and ask if wanted books, if  we wanted a certain channel or movie played on our bigass flat screen. Food was not horrible. It was immaculately clean.
Jail will always fucking suck. But there sure as hell are differences.

This past incident was about 2 years ago now. And the only reason it was difficult for me personally, was because I had to w/d from RX benzos during those 5 days. Truly, that was the only scary part. But that situation is always scary no matter if you're in jail or not. To be honest, I was a bit relieved to have all these people around me and watching me in case I seized. The nurse there was good to me though.

Spent 3 days in the deep south and overnight in the drunk tank once.

The entire time I was in the drunk tank the police referred to me as califirnia kid, I think they felt bad for fucking me over as i was being very nice.

The 3 days in the south was playing chess with the Latinos, bball with the brothers,  and listening to meth heads talk about stealing and fucking bitches.

I remember when I went to quarentine from the county jail at the beginning of my prison sentence I met this guy in there he would sit with us when we would go to the chow hall he was a pretty cool guy he was in the for vehicular manslaughter he was drunk driving with his brother in the car and crashed his brother died unfortunately. To make things sadder the last time I saw him was before we locked in one night he said goodnight like any other night but this time he supposedly overdosed on pills in his cell that night and died. Made me feel really sorry for his mother whoever she was she lost two children that's all I could really think about. They locked down our unit while we were eating breakfast so they could get his body out the cell. That was prolly the saddest thing I saw in the 18 months I was in there I def met alot of interesting people Ill never forget and I also got one of my first tattoos in there.

Yeah.  There was a 19 or 20 year old above me one time when is was dorm.  Could see cum all over his blanket hanging over.  And I was like what the fuck?  Last time he ever did that or kept it in his pants.  Just pointed it out to him, nothing threatening.

Later staying in a hostel in Denver there was this guy from New Zealand jacking off in a dorm full of people.  The Ukraine guys came up to me and said please talk to him.  So I did and he stopped.  I have a way with common sense with people.  They fear violence but it is just common sense.  The mind is as strong as muscle.  What a jail thing to say lol.  But it is true in all of life IMO.

i got busted for mushrooms, but i bailed after 3 days i think.  It wasnt that bad till they started to move me towards the cells where all the felons were at.  I did not wanna be with those people.  Thats changed my whole perspective of the jail.  I wanted to be with the kids with all the misdemeanor charges, not the adults with serious assault and violent crime and shit.  Thankfully i got bailed.  I dont ever plan to go back

Lol.  Not making fun at your expense but that saying, I am never going back makes me laugh.  Hopefully for you it won't be in your future.  Just know money runs things and if one, like most, can't afford a lawyer that the judge knows and gets a Public Pretender you are shit out of luck.

Hard won wisdom.  Mis. who cares besides on your next background check for a job.  Felony charges, welcome to that world and I hope you never experience it.  I was waiting in a holding cell and a naïve young man, like myself 16 years earlier, when they just ran him through the public defender, and he was not listening to anyone as the caseload was high of course.  It is for a for profit system.  He knew and looked at me for help before he saw him.  I am not Sal, it is corrupted as shit.

I thought this thread would be bit more rapey. No one fought off booty bandits with a sharpend spoon? Joined the Aryan Brotherhood and got a swastika tat on their face? Forced to wear makeup by your 400 pound cellmate?

I thought American prisons were like a big gay disco, you mean that show Oz and reality TV lied to me???

Yup, no gay hijinks, unfortunatley. I was only in jail for 5 days though. I guess guys can keep the gay thoughts at bay until prison shower time. Then they start getting horned up.

Hell yeah I was scared. I was a frail 19 year old boy with hair down to his ass. You should have seen these creeps lusting after me when they would move me around to different rooms/cells. I knew that I could just be alone if I told them I was suicidal. Now days I think I could handle gen pop but hopefully never have to lol

Parts of it sucked, they don't let you have clothes (so you don't use them to hang yourself) or eating utensils (so you don't harm yourself with them) and I had to sleep on basically a raised sheet of metal with no padding. Spent most of my time working out.

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

Can you believe we had private showers here in CO?

Still blows my mind. No doors, but walled in to the ceiling on three sides. Some good hot showers in there.
